New Square askanim sat down with R’ Schabes and promised a resolution within two weeks. That deadline came and went, not once, but several times, with nothing. In the meantime, more homes were quietly purchased and converted into SROs. It’s the same stall tactic they’ve played before, and this time the community refused to sit back.
Complaints were escalated, patrols increased, and when agencies began digging into the addresses we flagged, the truth became impossible to ignore: the ownership trail all led back to New Square. Under pressure, officials reached out to New Square leadership. And that’s when the mask slipped.
Mendel Berger, widely seen as the enforcer of the “air-mile exclusion zone,” called R’ Schabes in a fury, screaming “Mesirah.” Soon after, a 6½-minute Yiddish recording surfaced (not from Mendel), dripping with curses and vulgarity directed at anyone daring to speak out.
Then came the latest move: a letter being spread by Avrohom Hersh Eisenberger (son of the Skver Dayan) with the names of three Rabbanim, declaring that the issue belongs in Beis Din. It was quickly exposed. Both Community Connections Magazine and The Monsey View checked with Ichud Kehillos Rockland, and confirmed that the letter was not approved. The publishing houses refused to print it, further exposing the tactics at play. We thank these publications for verifying the letters in the name of our Rabbanim before publication.
Skver askanim plead, stop the lashon hara but conveniently ignore that hurting Yidishe families in multiple ways including planting pritzus in our streets and bringing crime into once safe neighborhoods is Assur!
On September 15th, the Town of Ramapo will hold a public hearing on whether to hand over more properties to New Square. With every expansion comes the creeping spread of the “air mile policy”, a deliberate effort to push out Yidden and make entire neighborhoods Yidden free.
As long as the exclusion zone exists and is enforced, we cannot allow the Village of New Skver to expand.
The stall game is ending. And our escalation is only just beginning!!!

I can listen to this recording all day. Delicious delicious delicious
How can I get the uncensored version?
Although this parsha is very disturbing, I can tell you that although I do not live in Skver, I am very close to many people there and they are wonderful temimusdik people, who welcome everyone and live a simple shtetldik life. Like any imperfect society unfortunately there is a small minority of machers who get involved in the wrong stuff and its hard to get out. I wouldn’t misalign an entire heilige tzibur because of a minority of bums.
I have no idea if the Rebbe is fully informed of the Chillul HaShem that is taking place or not. Our chiyuv is to be דן לכף זכות. If indeed he is aware and still sanctions a continuation of this behavior then its a pity that he allows himself to be misguided in this area אחד שוגג ואחד מזיד בחילול די. No one is immune from punishment even the greatest Tzadik of all times Moshe Rabeinu was punished for what was considered a Chilul HaShem. I hope the leadership comes to their senses very soon to put an end to it.
I do feel that everyone on both sides of Route 45, need to tone down and not allow ourselves to get caught up in endless machlokes during these days of ימי הדין והרחמים
although i live there either but i know that place super well, you are 100% right that the people there wonderful but the problem is the Kehillah, they operate as a regime, it goes back all the yrs starting when they gave out tzuras to the Rachmstrivka Rabbi and R’ Shulem Pollak, and R’ Moshe Green, and R’ A”D Twersky, and the list just goes on and on… but they do it in a way that they play stupid as if people believe them, i look out and hope to hashem that this time around this bubble will bust
of course he knows of an operation costing an estimated more than 200 million dollars, and to say otherwise is worse than just naivet
This recording isn’t from Mendel Berger. Period.
I’m not sure who this is, but it is disgusting how someone uses this language, whoever it is. I don’t think he represents Skver, or that he was sent by Skver.
It’s not.
By the time this article was posted this was the ONLY response we got from Skver after begging them many years to stop destroying Frum communities.
anyone can get the rcording for BR ? he’s sick for it.
uncensored version can be heard here 8453549595
I think this is a travesty. Yidden unfortunately lose sight of the goal: To bring Moshiach, through achdus without boundaries.
This is a mindset of a culture where the community cares for its own first and foremost. To change this mentality is not a simple matter. Unless there are powerful and self reflective people in the group who are not intimidated by others, and believe in the power of the individual to stand up for themselves, this is going to be a long battle.
1 there’s zero right not to let people buy anywhere they want. They can ask beg not force.
2 ns people can also buy wherever they want for living or investment.
3 everyone should do everything legal no basement apartments no flips etc.
4 everyone wants to make the most money on their property but let’s try to find best tenants for the sake of neighbors ,we know more people in one house is more money . But try your best.
5 let’s try first to work on Linden Rossell and Rahway hundreds of houses bought and rented out also Williamsburg Houses built for artists , on ocean parkway few new projects for others that make neighborhood less safe . If we’ll be able to convince them that for few dollars don’t ruin our quiet neighborhood . It’ll be easier to convince people that even if you didn’t buy for money making just for keeping your values, loss some money and take smaller family’s for the sake of neighbors.
6 is there a heter to do mesira and call police for every noice ? Which Ruv is Matir ? Its damage to house owners. If yes let’s do it in linden where my neighbors also put in others making grills same for people in roselle and Rahway. Let’s try to look without any judgement . Don’t these guys have right to wanna live in separation? Can’t u respect someone with some other values then you? They don’t have pizza shops , theaters in their basements ,outdoor pools, they don’t make outdoor grills ,etc . They are not jew haters at all . Everyone knows the most Chesed comes out of this shtetel for everyone. Ask Rubashkin askunim , all hospital rooms , even their rabbi open ear for everyone for over 57 years .
Don’t we act like the datiim in Isreal who non-stop cry attack and scream and bash us why we dnt go to army ? They do have pain losing children and they are even ready to make a chareidy unit. But most of us feel it’s not for our son’s best . Because it’s not our home values . Look at the comments in their online platforms you’ll hear the same hate towards us like you give towards Skver. So before you write think for a sec. Do you understand why we don’t go to the Frum units in the army when our brothers getting killed ? Is it because we feel just we are good? Because we hate them? No! Because we wanna be in place to observe our values all the way. So understand Skver too. Lots of writers on this platform have complained to their Mosdos not to except all these new city pamona kids in their son’s classes . We all know that pretty well. There’s a lot of trouble in monsey about this . For respect to the community I won’t elaborate .
You people dont want some kind of elements near you , They also dont want certain kind of people near them , they just buy the houses , you attack, shame, do mesirah .
Do like skver overpay for your kids chinuch, and you”ll win.
Time to think are we acting like the {dateim}anti Semites against Frum peop
Commenting the same Shtusin on every post wont make you right. I’ve replied to your other comments.
Indeed, Nuta, I’ve duly noted shlomo copy/pasting the same exact nonsense on at least three of this site’s articles – if not more. Begs the question – is he a shill?
This is so poorly written, I can’t even begin to understand the point.
I tried. I’m pretty sure I don’t agree with it and the poor writing just sort of accents it.
Heh, heh, i couldn’t agree w/you more about not agreeing with it!
Shoita…
You have no right. And how do you justify the keep buying more property and therefore expanding the one-mile? Ich farshtei dich nisht
Everyone knows new square is a well organized cult and the don’t want its shold leak out the public so that’s why they don’t want any yid to live nexht to them
Imagine you learned the Halacha, you wouldn’t have to write long irrelevant megillos.
We have a Torah, the Torah says that it is forbidden to do what the askanim in Skver are doing.
What?
Can we keep platform a little more respectful ! This guy is not a spokesman for Skver. This is some funny individual talking under the influence of alcohol or it’s a prank. Dnt use some stupid recording to categorize 4 thousand Skvere families. You and me know that the vast majority of them don’t speak like this.
Let’s stay a little more respectful, also in comments let’s not compete with the Preserve Ramapo low attacks against Jewish people .
So far there hasn’t been another official response from Skver so we can only guess this is the official Skver response as it’s the only response out of skver so far
I fully support you and think you’re 100 percent correct, and Skver is wrong. On the other hand, this guy is talking profanity. Only Skver bums talk like that, either bums on the outside or inside. Posting this as an official Skver answer is loshon hora in my opinion.
As someone with a relative living in the mile and who knows the area well, I can say that the entire fuss around this issue is blown way out of proportion. The truth is, most Jewish residents don’t really care one way or the other—they’re not bothered by the SRO houses, nor do they see themselves as “victims,” lol. The Skver-owned houses are mostly clustered in one spot where hardly any Jews even live. The noise is coming from a small fringe group who, for whatever reason, decided to stir things up. Reality looks very different from the narrative they’re trying to push.
It’s easy to get emotionally pulled into things like this when you don’t actually know the details—same reason you see people worldwide jumping on the pro-Palestine bandwagon. Some people just love drama, and that’s fine, but don’t mistake noise and social media spice for the actual reality.
I got no clue who your relative is and what they told you. But it doesnt really matter, anyone is invited to come see the half naked parties next door to the Zichron Yaakova Shul or look at the local police reports.
Clustered into one spot? Take a look at the map on the site! I live about 3/4 of a mile from Skver and they bought two houses near me recently and put in low lives who are wreaking havoc on all of us. Same for hundreds of us across several Shuls/neighborhoods. What are they doing is a sham and disgusting in so many ways. To side with Skver is siding with terrorism.
What are you taking about? Seriously? I live in the area. You can’t deny facts. They own many houses near Jewish people’s homes and Shuls my next door is a Skver owned house full of Spanish and yes most of us do care a lot.
How does your comment represent reality when you dont live in the mile and dont suffer, ill invite you one shabess to my house so you know what the reality actually is, what is your version of “reality” when they burned rottenburg.??? You would probably say the “reality” is it was only 5he rebbes mayim achronim water.
You don’t know what you are talking about! They (skver) just purchased two home right down the street from shul rented out to sevral Spanish families of corse. Across the street from me they purchased a home moved in 4 families. Then about a half a year before one there kids turned 15 they started practicing for “quinceañera” sweet 15 with a wedding hall size speaker blasting Spanish music all day and till late hours of the nights and boys and girls dancing and kissing together and if that is not bad enough there is a very חשוב חסדיש תלמיד חכם who lives up the street and all his children had no choice but to witness and be exposed to kind of “lewd acts” in addition to that the police being called by the Spanish people them self on their husbands coming home drunk not knowing to which side of the house they belong to. (To keep it Kosher) enough is enough.
Time for them (skver) to change .

Got it — you want me to help clean this up so it reads more clearly, while still keeping the strong tone. Here’s a polished version of your article, with grammar and flow fixed, but the meaning preserved:
You don’t know what you’re talking about! The Skver community just purchased two homes right down the street from the shul, which they rented out to several Spanish families. Across the street from me, they bought another house and moved in four families.
About half a year before one of their children’s 15th birthday, they began preparing for a quinceañera (a “sweet 15”). They blasted Spanish music with a wedding-hall-sized speaker all day and late into the night, while boys and girls danced and behaved inappropriately in public.
To make matters worse, a very חשוב חסידיש תלמיד חכם lives up the street, and all his children had no choice but to witness and be exposed to these kinds of pritzus. On top of that, the Spanish neighbors themselves were even calling the police on their own husbands for coming home drunk, not even knowing to which side of the house they belonged.
Enough is enough.
It’s time for the Skver to make a change.
Oops. Guess you’re not intelligent enough to write a comment without the help of AI.
You are not relating the truth. Obviously, the people in this area care. They care about keeping their families safe. They care about their property values. They care about their neighbors and keeping them safe and keeping their property values. They care about respecting Shabbos. They do not want to have these issues with new square.
I live in Colorado, and during my rather short visits to my children and grandchildren, I have seen these homes that are being allowed to be trashed and have rather undesirable tenants.
It’s a heartbreaking situation and I pray that a resolution can be worked out soon.
WTJ, sure you aren’t a shill in the employ of, ahem, certain biased interests?
Who is the person taking in the recording?
Shocking stuff I never heard before , my body shaking! Just can’t handle such low Klal Yisroel
1 that people can take out a mortgage for primary residence and then rent it out
2 people putting tenants in basements or other areas not legally made for it
3 people could overpay to get a deal
4 people being picky who their neighbors are, sinas chinum
5 some construction without a permit
6 people buying houses on “ghost” LLC
7 people can violate occupancy laws of a house.

Skver is a wonderful community, the epitome of chessed, yiras shomyim, and Torah.
They have a right to try and preserve the kedusha and flavor of the shtetl they built with sweat, blood, and tears. I know several people that bought in “the mile.” Not to be too explicit, what I can say is that these people and their values, is to skver what the “low tenants” are to them.
I am not here to tell anyone how to live their life, but I totally understand skver for doing everything they can to preserve their value system and way of life.
Just imagine a liberal social justice anti Israel reform “Rebetzin” would open a temple next to your house, and many of her style people would buy up real estate in your area. Wouldn’t you do everything in the world to block them??? But but but they are yidden too, no?!
Now, the type of people typically buying “within the mile” are to skver’s values system like the above-mentioned “Rebetzin” is to you.
Do us all a favor. Stop with the drama. Stop with the disinformation (playing a recording left by some idiot, and giving the impression that it was Rabbi Berger who left it).
I believe you’ll probably remove this comment since it doesn’t align with your perspective. Which is fine. I know that at least I spoke up when a holy community of thousands of people were disparaged and smeared for no good reason, and all in the name of Ahavas Yisrol.
You should be ashamed of yourselves.
1. 80% Of Skver are amazing, holy, good, people. The problem is the 20% terrorists
2. The main issue that triggers Skver is the real frum Chasiddish people, not bums moving jn. Their main crusade campaign started after real frum Chasidish families moved in.
3. Everything Skver is doing here is criminal and against the Torah
4. Any sort of Chesssed and mitzvah does not justify any wrongdoings. You will burn in hell for every sin you’ve done – especially to a fellow jew – no matter on how many mitzvos you think you’ve done.
5. The community here is fighting for survival and wont slow down for anything as long this is not resolved 100%
I live within the mile and your analogy is ridiculous. First of all, we don’t get in the way of Skver. We live across a busy road and don’t interact with them at all. This is 100% based on paranoia and makes no sense. Second, if they bought up houses with legitimate means and moved in their own people or rented to single families no one would have a problem. It’s that they are buying them and renting them out illegally. According to any opinion in Halacha is this permitted (in fact the leadership and homeowners are violating the law and Halacha countless times a day).
The fact that they’re putting in more than one tenant is something that’s done everywhere. People do that in Williamsburg, Linden, Staten Island, and jersey city. It’s difficult to make money in the real estate industry now. Your argument relates to a general trend. It might be a good argument, but it has nothing to do with these houses specifically.
There’s a HUGE difference between a greedy investor VS a campaign to destroy a Frum community.
If you don’t get it, don’t waste your time trying to, because you will never be able to.
I used to live within the mile and I feel the need to respond to your points.
1. Although you’re mostly right when you write “we don’t get in their way” , I remember than once going their for some minyanim on shabbos and I would see others from the community. In addition, I’m sure many people from the community take advantage of their shachris and mariv minyanim at all times of day and night , and they are trying to preserve their community by not having you guys come on with your (clearly) different attire and smartphones – influencing their community. Similar to what Yechiel S said.
2. It’s for this exact reason that they’re not going to “put their own people in ” like you said. That’s the point, they don’t want anyone from their neighborhood living out of their secluded shtetl which could run the risk of them getting influenced by the different standards and materialistic levels that your community has (to be clear, I’m talking in contrast to Skver before anyone jumps on my back, I personally don’t care what you guys have and do) and then it starts to permeate their community.
3. Please don’t kid yourself when you write that you wouldn’t have a problem if they were doing things legitimate and legally. That’s so not true. You would still be bothered by them buying up all the houses and specifically renting them out to goyim, which limits the growth of your community and raises the overall prices of houses in your area, and you would still be bothered by all the parties, loud music, and inappropriate things that they do. So please don’t kid yourself and get real. Since it really doesn’t seem like Skver is stopping their antics anytime soon and to stop the ongoing loshon hara and mesirah going on, one thing I would like to suggest is maybe a team from your community together with your rabbi go knock on the spanish doors and try to explain to them how all of their stuff affects your community standards and quality of living (referring to the loud music). I know it’s easier said than done but try to work with them directly as opposed to bashing other jews and spreading sinas chinum. Just a suggestion if this route hasn’t already been tried. Hatzlachah rabbah to all that are involved and affected.
Like others here that tried to make Slver look right by falsely claiming the live in the mile, I don’t take you serious.
1) This is not their problem, the LOVE when outdpsiders come. Their problem is if their people will chas veshalom daven shabbos morning in a minyan other than the rebbes.
2) There’s more Skvere people living in Monsey than in Skver
3) Of course we would love our community to grow but the main issue here is the amount and type of people the bring here intentionally – which would be impossible to do legally
preserve the kedusha and flavor????????
How??????????????
לאקשן עסטו פארקויפן דיין באבע
I didn’t read through the entire chain, but I’m just curious. You seem to be on the side that’s against skver. Why would you continue to live there?
Because the Skver mafia will destroy his life if he dares to, sadly.
It’s not about the mile, my friend. You hate skver. Period.
I know many skver people that moved out, and they’re still skver chassidim.
“Aron Mendy” does not live there. He picked this name because it’s the Rebbe’s son’s name and he thought that would be convincing. Unfortunately, no one besides the Rebbe’s son has that name over there. They wouldn’t give this name. It’s not from the “skver” dynasty.
Whatever. You’re just hater, as is seen in your comments about Rotenberg.
Are they ok with Ehrliche Rachmistrivka Chasidim with similar values (kaitz) to live there?
NO!!!
They are way more afraid of them. The more similar, the bigger the threat to their control freak paranoia…
The main crusade started when frum chassidish families moved in. They didn’t care as much when it was litfish etc.
Really disinformation???
Wonderfull ppl
Ok to burn rottenburg
Ok for rebbes escort to kill somone with wrong way traffic collision.
Ok for rebbes gaboyim to touch as many kids as they want
Talk to any ex skver and they will tell you. About the use and abuse. Just like lev tahor
This may make sense if the “offensive” Jewish people were moving into Skver. They’re not. They moved into a neighborhood across the highway from the entrance to Skver. Make no mistake, no one from these communities within the mile go into skver or disturb their way of life. The reaction by Skver is not protective but punitive.
You speak of not disturbing their way of life. Um but what if some of them impose a terrorizing way of life to those in their midst?
What about:
לא תעמוד על דם רעך
I know that place very well. no menchlichkeit there what’s so ever. it’s all about the rabbi and everything else is worthless.
just ask around how they treated R’ Sholom Pollock, who’s a Tzadik. they took the dam hatzamtis out of him, or how they Paniged the Rachmstrivka Rabbi zl etc. i can go on and on.
i can talk all day long… menchlichkeit there is the last thing. ill stop here but this is a tip of the iceberg
Hi NUTA!
” The problem is the 20% terrorists”
belongs here https: //preserve-ramapo.com/
Wow this guy is 100 right! I was all mixed up reading this whole story. Because it starts that halacha you can’t prevent people to buy in the mile { and that’s right}, but then the whole talk is to prevent any of them to buy in the mile for investment. So again I agree with all of yous ” you can’t prevent anyone of buying in the mile for any price and for whatever reason” even if the buyer is from New Square and wears the boots. And harassments are unforgivable on any side. So if you Skvere or neighbor don’t want him to be near you pay more and buy it. The only strong argument is ” put in nice tenants even if you earn less or loss a bit”. Is really a point. But me living in Boro Park sees it whole life all apartment buildings put on the higher floors not then best people because we wouldn’t pay the same for 6th floor . So why are you attacking a full community when this goes on for decades everywhere? So you believe for much more money you are aloud to bring in all garbage in our communities, they believe for their fundamental values they can also. I don’t say it’s right , but hear the other way of seeing this. Btw the problem of the outskirts of monsey is called by the old Monseyers a עיר הנדחת ר”ל it’s at all not a secret please don’t act ignorant as if they just dnt want other Jews near them. Please please be honest.
Skvers problem is not עיר הנידחת type of people, they are afraid of real ultra frum chassidish families.
In short, the rebbe is paranoid he will lose control of his puppets if they can go daven at another shul – not his minyan.
That’s why Gothenburg was burned and thats why they terrorize their neighbors.
Look Nuta, I was following this conversation with curiosity not having formulated an opinion yet.
I don’t live in the mile, and I have no connection to skver. I’m just a curious observer trying to see both sides. I think you have some strong points. I also think skver has some legitimate concerns.
However, when you link your side with Rotenberg, you have lost me. I personally know the Rotenberg story (we share a relative), and while what the young bucher has done is unacceptable, I would never align with a rasha like him. Burning wasn’t permitted, but he was totally wrong in that case. He was a moser, a Mechutzaf, and a ganav. Please don’t make me elaborate.
I don’t know the guy and I’m not defending him. Still the fact remains he was burned for having a minyan outside of the Rabbi’s minyan.
“I don’t know the guy and I’m not defending him, but…”
That “but” has disqualified everything you mentioned before that word. You don’t know the guy. You don’t know the story. In fact, you don’t know anything besides what has been circulating on social media.
The burning was done (actually unintentionally) by a 17-year-old. It doesn’t matter. It was wrong, and nothing will justify it. We don’t disagree on that. The burning was not sanctioned or condoned by anyone in the community, especially not the Rebbe, that is probably one of the only ones that has been around for 60 years and never got into a fight with another group or sect.
Our disagreement is on the facts. He was not burned “due to having a minyan in his home.” I will reiterate that burning a person is not permitted in any context, but the fact that you’re stating facts without having any factual knowledge of the circumstances disqualifies you as legitimate and honest person. If in your words, within the mile and Rotenberg are aligned, I’m taking skver’s side on this.
I speculate that some people within Heimishe communities are gilgulim of Bar Kochva or the Biryonim.
I happen to know personally from first-hand experience that Rabbi Schabes advises people NOT to go to Bais Din and go straight to secular court.
who is the one guy to call to din torah.
and is ready to stop and listen whatever the psak will be?
who is the one guy in new square to call him to din torah. and is ready to stop and listen whatever the psak will be? will the rebbe go or say ICH VEIS NISHT
Love ❤️
Gut voch! I actually live in the mile came from Williamsburg 5 years ago. My broker told me to ignore them. That I did till now. I was a typical hater . Couldn’t stand them . Even left a nasty comment online about them. Till……This Shabbat had a simcha in Monsey . Saw someone with the big Shteivel walking near me. Just asked him if I could understand the wrong fact of taking in lower class tenants for a few dollars? He was very ready to answer. So he did explain what they want for the Chinuch of their children . And some mixtures can harm that {he told me he doesn’t mean me, sure he did the way I look, says it all . He wouldn’t wanna smell my outdoor grill nightly} a long explanation. But then he asked me something. Viznitz willi built a development near kiryas yoel and Satmar rebbi warned ” don’t even try to move in” . He was very clear. He explained he doesn’t want his ky to look like Monsey outskirts where there are not highest standards etc. now In contrast, 1 Viznitz is as Frum as Satmar -here a mix of all kinds 2 it’s one small area not circling the whole kiryas Yoel .- by Skver they’d get circled3 it’s 100 families vs 10000 from ky – they world outnumber Skver losing the identity of the Shtetl4 kiryas Yoel was never bought as full shtetl just each his house.- Skver owed their Shtetl. 5 Viznitz has a rabbi to control his people- around Skver is no Rabbonim land How did they respond? Packed their stuff and left. They did respect Satmar rebbi. They have a leader of Viznitz that understood . What did we do? 1 harming abusing cursing any Skverer we meet 2 online full of attacks on full kehila 3 bringing all haters like Zev Brener 4 masira . Are we acting normal? . Let’s say they did some stuff wrong . That gives right we should do wrong. Mesirah? Being a rodef that punchment is מיתהבא על ספק אשת איש יש לו חלק לעולם הבא והמלבין פני חבירו ברבים אין לו חלק לעולם הבאI didn’t have what to answer ,came home ashamed and lost . regretting buying here , rethinking my future
Ps. they have more rabbonim and Dayanim that feel they can do what their doing. So who am I to say?
What a bluff…. Nice story invented while trying to create facts for skver…
The story with Satmer and viznitz is 100% true. R’ Aron lecture was public. Ask around.
Im talking about the bluff that he lives in the mile… i know every Chassid that lives here…
i am a ex chusid,silly
I know the X Chassidim better than the real…
Way to go!
Btw, R’ Aron spoke about this again last week.
There’s a huge difference between KJ & NS
1) People moving next to KJ are essentially coming there because of KJ and it’s infrastructure while no one is directly coming next to NS, it’s an extension of monsey and it’s inevitable monsey shouldn’t get till NS as it’s growing at ALL sides
2) R’ Aron never did and will never do the horrendous crimes NS has done while trying to destroy a fellow Frum community.
In fact, I know firsthand of a guy that went in to R’ Aron recently and he was shocked to hear what Skver has done here.
what ??? viznitz didnt have the chutzpa to come there. so he did not need to buy the houses.
person went to R Aron saying the false one sided story. wowwwwww. if i wouldnt know the other side and all the libels i”d be shocked too
וואס נאך איז נייעס??? גוטע חלומות
Mr. Come On,
It will be my honor if you can explain the other side.
How do you justify destroying Jewish communities?
Good morning & a gut chodesh!
Nice story, but let’s cut through the c**p.
Skver’s “policy” isn’t about chinuch or higher standards. It’s about buying up homes to box out other Yidden. Stuffing 15–20 people into a single-family house isn’t chinuch, it is reckless and unsafe, and this is all to destabilize the neighborhoods. It has nothing to do with ruchniyus. It’s about power.
The Viznitz/Satmar comparison is a distraction and a horrible comparison. They built projects. They didn’t send askanim to quietly flip houses behind neighbors’ backs. Only Skver plays that game.
And the “mesirah” cry? Please. Reporting illegal rentals and dangerous overcrowding isn’t mesirah, it’s protecting lives. Don’t hide behind Torah while breaking every law in the book.
Nobody here is cursing Skverer or hating frum Yidden. What we reject are tactics like intimidation, lies, and exclusion zones.
If you really do live here, then you likely know who I am. I’m not hiding behind anonymous comments. Come sit down, let’s shmooze. You’ll see very quickly that this fight isn’t about hate, it’s about protecting our families and our neighborhoods.
Peace doesn’t just mean keeping quiet while problems fester. Real peace means we can sit together and agree on something, for the greater good. I want more than just “peace.” I want genuine Ahavas Yisroel, where every Yid can live with dignity, respect, and safety. That’s the goal!
”The Viznitz/Satmar comparison is a distraction and a horrible comparison. They built projects. They didn’t send askanim to quietly flip houses behind neighbors’ backs. Only Skver plays that game.”
what?????????????????????????? didnt understand one word!!!!
They forced out viznitz to give up to live there. they were very clear and powerful ”you wont come to ky”
Skver is simply buying houses and trying to cover loses of buyers by putting in a lot of tenants.
Your statement is missing just a few words.
Skver is simply filling a Frum neighborhood with gangsters, criminals, in overcrowded houses which hosts half naked parties every other day.
JJ
The sad part New Square leadership is not going to take care of your family when you go to prison like those families of 1999 college fraud families were starving, and their electric was turned off. Wilder husbands was in prison for fraud for the community.
Yechiel s. You should be ashamed of yourself. So we are the nurses and doctors who are good enough to take care of these people but since my husband doesn’t wear a streimel we don’t deserve to live in our home? I have zero desire to change anything in skver no one’s coming after them. All I ask is that my children can walk down the block on shabbos safely without having multiple new tenants monthly on the block staring at them while driving 50 miles an hour down a small street. I would never ever wish this upson anyone Jewish and not Jewish. It’s vindictive and cruel to knowingly put other people in harms way. And quite frankly narcissistic. No one’s attacking Skver as a whole. There are people higher up who are making these decisions and we have a problem with them.
They should move skver upstate Ramapo is a city and has no place for villages anymore, I hear they built a new shul in bethel – they can do what breslov is doing in liberty..
Nuta is 100% right!!!
They didn’t have a problem with us till Chasidish guys came they got more wild. For loshon horo reasons won’t elaborate about some ”so called” chasidish that came here. We suffer because of them. But I’m not justifying square either.
Seems like you’re not too happy with these chassidish neighbors one metzad themselves because you labeled them “so called chassidish” and two because of the increased problems you’ve been having from skver after they moved in. So why don’t you either explain the situation to them (and you can help them find a house to buy in other areas) or try to chap the house before the chassidish guy does and sell it to a litvish person. Seems like both of these tactics would keep skver at bay…
Ben happens to love Chassidim…
Dear Nuta.
Because you have personal “Contorl” issues in your own life, doesn’t mean you need to see everything around you from this perspective. You are too busy with the fact that skver rebbe wants to retain contorl – which might be true, but who cares? the world has a lot more and bigger issues to take care of before “taking care” of skver.
So yes, skver is bad, and they want control and keep their children seperated and segregated and so on which is very very bad, and not right or moral. But, and here is the big but, again don’t mistaken me. i belive you are the “right” side of this storey. “But” the but is that you got dragged into an ego fight, and its only about that. Now, don’t get me wrong I’m 200% sure that’ you wont’ get my point here, because you are too far dragged in, and if I were you I also wouldn’t be able to take another point, but let me just say this, as much as you have the right to fight for what you think is “right”, to “protect” your children from “pritzus” (read: what You thins is right and Your values) they too HAVE the damm f’n right to fight and protect what they see as “values”.
Yep, you heard it right. They have the same right to fight and do everything they can for their “values” as much as you have the right to fight against “pritzus”.
And again I’m no fan of skver, I have a lot to say on them and about them, but they are not the signel biggest issue your or klal yisroel should deal with, we have far bigger and more serious issues.
AND I would have thought you mean it seriously for your kids. Until I saw you talking about Skver rebbe gate-keeping and contorl issues. While your points are valid about the rebbe, it is also telling that “this” is your real issue at hand here. You cannot take the fact that he wants contorl (because deep down you too also want control – and you are getting/taking contorl by fighting {with all truly right points – which I admin you are right} but the fact that you are “fighting” for it, makes the whole point no longer valid. Because if you are entitled to “fight” {yes, realize that’s what you do, even though its “mutar”, that is still a fight} they are also entitled to fight.
now don’t reply with 10 points, because I can list them here, they are true & correct (in my oppinion) but not grounds to bring another fight and chilul hashem in klal yisroel.
So is skver right ? H’l no. Are they spearding achdus? no! Do they mean Leshem Shamiym? most likely not!
But now think about it if they are wrong on all the above, now mirror it on your side. Fights – even with utmost right are “never” yes “never ever ever ever” leshem shamayim, unless you are Hillel Hazoken.
Now will you say they started the fight. Agreed. So that’s why you dragg whole klal yisroel into another fight. Don’t forget you are still right about the absolute pain they are causing you. Yes its very challenging to raise kids when you half pritzus on your street. But think about it. Pritzues is only bothering you because you are a God Fearing jew. right? in that case, does God want you to “fight back” and take “nekama” and “show them once and for all who is stronger and more pwerfull”? yes or no? answer me.
So you are seeing yourself is a fighter on belahlf of klal yisroel to liberate the mile from the skver occupiers. Yes, that your goal. You like to fight and show strength/power as much as skvere rebbe does. If not you wouldn’t use any of the “mesirah” (real control) tactics.
So, let’s realize one thing.
Maybe your purpose in life is to realize, that even though you are right, doesn’t mean you should do what you do (and I’m not sure I’d be able to give up my ego if or even think for 30seconds that I should if i were in your position). Like even though you have the right of way doens’t mean that you should drive into trafic.
So one final thing, let’s realize that this won’t suddenly end. this is just the naked facts it won’t go awya. so if you really care for pretzis i think you should (temporarily) while you fight it out move to a rental in central monsey to protect your kids Ad Yavor Zaam. And keep figthing from there, just do it for your kids. why would you continue exposing them to this things and putting your self into lions mouth? Again only you. of couse don’t make a movement because once everyone moves, that’ll make skver win. But also, if you do do it Kudos!!! because everyone will shmooze “the loozer {your name}. He bent for skver” – that’s is an awfull felling. so you can’t do it you’d 1000 times much rather have your kids be exposed to them. And I think that’s whats bothering you, and that’s why you would Spread lashan hara (even though yes you are right you have a heter) but still i’m you are gods Opetropos and fear him constantly.
Lot’s of love for you and your family i do feel your struggle, and I’m sorry for the pain that God cause your through skver. (again that God caused you, everything is ment to happen).
I don’t know which religion you follow but the Torah there’s consequences for foul playing. If you stole and couldn’t pay back you were sold as a slave, if you killed someone you were executed etc. NO MATTER how big of a Rabbi you were.
Shoving issues under the rug is exactly what Skver does best – in order to further their crimes. But in the real Torah there’s no place for that, problems have to be solved. Period. That’s why 12 Rabbanim signed on a letter supporting this campaign.
The community here is fighting for its survival and it will not slow down until this is resolved.
PS. This campaign is not against Skver in general or their Rebbi, its about this particular issue. But when people were making up all kinds of excuses why Skver is right and making the end justify the means – no matter what the Torah or law have to say about it – I had to set the record straight.
What Nuta???? Woahhh are we living in the times of the Sanhedrin where we sold people as slaves? Or perhaps do you see yourself as of that caliber? What exactly are you saying here or doesn’t make any sense.
No, we are not living in the times of the sanhedrin.
My point is very simple: Crying “You cant talk like this…” while you are actively working to destroy a Frum Jewish community is a scam.
In the Torah, actions have consequences, and they don’t necessarily happen quietly under the rug.
Shoving this under the rug is how Skver will continue it’s campaign to try destroying whole Frum communities.
Don’t catch him on every word. He means the general idea of halacha doesn’t go away because one wants…
Please explain your rebuttal
Thank you for making this point. I wasn’t gonna say it on my own because I didn’t want to stir the pot but once you started stirring it already, I wanted to say the same G-D that you guys serve and want to get closed to (I assume and hope) is the same G-D that put the goyim there and wants you to deal with it in a mencthlichkeit and daas torah no doubt. Speaking of which, I’m curious as to what the rabbi of the community take on all of this?…Why is everything being “blamed” on Rabbi Schabes? What does Rabbi K say about all of this? I really wonder if he condones all of this loshon hara and “fight back” mentality.
He is all for it, I spoke to him. It’s a matter of saving a community of those who want to destroy it.
You’re million percent right. If Nuta means the truth of the matter , he would write against all houses here in Boro park on New Utrecht or McDonald on Dahill that bring in so much garbage in our neighborhood. On 17 ave in low streets , next door to Rabbi Shpigels Shull music whole Shabbat on speaker’s . Webster ocean parkway new development by willi person bringing in low class etc.
You don’t care about the problem – you hate certain Jews. This is total hate!
But funny the whole fight and all comments full of hate is all about ”sinas Yisroel of Skver”. It’s mind blowing. Just speak to any random Skvere, you’ll hear about their shtetl being separate. Not one negative word on other crowds . It’s a fact that you can’t deny. Maybe their wrong with their mission. But sinas Yisroel I see by the ones fighting them.
There’s a fundamental difference between a greedy guy renting out a house to low-lifes VS a coordinated campaign to destroy a Frum community.
Both are wrong but if you don’t get it, go seek help immediatly.

Let’s be clear , I learned in Skver Cheder. You should just know how much they grew up with the history of their Shtetel. The sacrifices for it ….the first families … They have 2 full books of history of the building of it.
Whoever knows and grew up with this knows the reason fighting the mile isn’t control, cult, hate, sinaas Chinum. It’s something very important for them. Years and years they lived on this( although I don’t connect to this)I don’t think it’s just rational its even more emotional with some ration too. And you can respect some purity that’s unique in this place.
So, while I don’t say it’s right or wrong buying the houses, stop with libels and smearing.
Also, common sense they look to make[or not to loose] the most money, like we all love money. It’s not trying to spread pritzus. Again don’t know if it’s right.
Please, some common sense. But some people here have nothing with the mile. Just haters finding a holy war platform to write all shmutz is sad. Time to stop this. This is uglier then the whole mile fight. simple
This is no “libel” and smearing… come over and see for yourself how Skver is actively working to destroy another Frum community.
The community is fighting for its survival and will not back down until this is settled.
Good luck…
Wow. I’m shocked by the content of the comments I’ve read so far. Is this actually backed by the Ichud Harabanim? I’m sending them an email about it. The foul language in the comments is really embarrassing. The points could still be made if comments were either closed or properly moderated. This shouldn’t turn into another YWN-style comments section under an Ichud hashgacha. Unacceptable.
“So, while I don’t say it’s right or wrong buying the houses, stop with libels and smearing.
Also, common sense they look to make[or not to loose] the most money, like we all love money. It’s not trying to spread pritzus”????????????????????????????????????????
investing for money in this area does not make any sense if not for skver agenda

the only reason to buy WITHINTHEMILE is or to live in such a nice Jewish heimish neighborhood or to destroy it
Hi,
come down, people skver will never give up you will need to move to a odder place.
So just do it now and don’t wait. The prices in Monsey are going up so buy a new house now in sell your house for skver for 1.5 M
No one is moving anywhere, this is an established community with about 500 families, and we will not let Skver destroy our community.
If anyone should move its Skver unless they realize reality because we are here to stay.
I think you meant to write 50 families, not 500,but like you said, if you’re an established community minding your own business, then the skver antics shouldn’t bother you. In regards to the loud neighbors, try to speak to the neighbors about all the late night parties and low life activities that they do. If that’s not possible or doesn’t work. Call the police on them instead of your fellow jews….
The people making parties are not here by mistake, they are being brought in by design to destroy out community of 500+ families (I know you might not like the cpfact but it wont change) and the perpetrators who work hard to destroy our community will pay the price they deserve.
I actually woke up and did some homework! Called up a skver freind owning there .Was surprised to learn that Skver asks you to buy houses and invest. But once bought it has ZERO with them. You take you management and put in whatever tenants you want. Skver is not managing it not responsible and taking profit or losses. So speak about investors not about the chasidus.
talking non sence, Skver might not approve the latinos moving in but they cover the downpayment and take care of the mortgage and control that 10 lowlife’s moves in
Fact: Skver officially puts in the lowest of the lowest to destroy the locals. Even Meir Shiller, a ggod friend of the rebbi, openly stated this in the podcast.
Of course the guy who owns the home is the one taking in the tenants… as he is the landlord… But its all orchestrated by Skver and no one, even in Skver – besides you – denies this.
Nuta, yes and no question.
You really believe if they would earn more money of single families they would put in more people and loss ?Answer honestly
No, they would earn less.
That doesn’t take away the fact that Skver is doing this deliberately to destroy an existing Frum community.
What a lie! No down payment. You can use which mortgage broker you want. You can ask anyone owning a house if anyone helps with downpayment.
You found a site to spill your hate. Some here speak from pain you are a real anti Semite.
אית דין ואית דיין
Shefela, unfortunately i know that place way to well, so you can’t sell me lukshen kugal. nothing besides the rabbi epicists there, no Torah no mentchlichkeit
The guy that’s on top of the heat on skver has 300 illegol tenants in Williamsburg. What can anyone answer to that?
No need to answer… If the people in Williamsburg feel it’s a problem they deserve the right to fix it. Two wrongs doesn’t make one right.
People in Williamsburg understand that there are choices to live in Williamsburg near the Spanish people; it’s also your choice to live in the mile
It’s also the choice of the people within the mile to stand up and make sure a Frum community won’t be destroyed
Skever is 1700 families. What do you think, who will win: 500 families or 1700?
Guess we’ll have to wait and see if the court will give them a pass because they’re more families.
Dina Dmalchese Dina?
Oish… So much energy and money that can be invested in building is being spent on spreading hate and devision, we need more love not hate. We unfortunately got so comfortable in this Golus that we think the world belongs to us. Don’t you have enough problems of your own that you need to drag in klal Yisroel into this? Are we not hated enough in the world that we need to fight each other? This is not how you win battles, if anything that’s making the other side more stubborn against you, and trust me even if you do some how manage to twist thier arms and get them to give up on this, it won’t end well for you in the long run… There is absolutely no Bracha in anything that has been achieved by loshon hora and hatred (even if you were right!) because this is the reality of the world and that’s Hashem hates the most.
I’ll tell you what Hashem hates: When someone tries to destroy a community of 500+ Frum families.
I’ll also be kind enough and tell you what Hashem loves: When Ehrliche Yidden stand up and don’t let a Frum community be destroyed.
In regard what will work or not, there’s one thing that will work and that is real consequences for the cruel criminal activities – and its happening very soon iy”h.
Please stop playing G-D and telling was what He likes and doesn’t like, you sound ridiculous when you start doing that. I understand you’re having big problems with them but either deal with it in a proper way with daas torah fully on board and without dragging everyone else to spread more hate and loshon hara or leave. I want you to remember 2 things. One is “ayn hamitzvah bah b’aveirah” and two is you never lose by being mevater, in fact, many times someone who is a ויתר, will end up having יותר.
You just made a concoction of nice words but I got no clue how it answers anything I wrote.
Please clarify if you belive otherwise, that hashem loves when someone tries to destroy a Frum community or if hashem hates when Frum jews stand up and say we wont let our community be destroyed.
Thanks in advance.
Are you 500 families? you are just a few families living on New Hampstead and Westview; all the other communities are not involved in this heat and loshan hore
Correct it’s not 500 hundred families. I personally know 10 (!!) people in the mile a few across Refuah and a few near Koson. Not a single person wants Mesirah. And neither to they support public fighting.
I can ask them if they wanna go out and publicly denounce this site.
Loom, imagine you were forced by the government or something you can’t control to live in the worst area of Manhattan. You would understand that this is what God wants and it’s a sign that he wants you to know how to be Mechanech your kids even when they’re exposed to bad things. You would accepted it.
Now while it extremely hurts to see Yiden (skver) doing this to your children. It’s very unfortunate.
But in no way does that justify public hatred.
How do I know?
Because throughout our history many many big rabanim where wrongfully persecuted and discriminated against by their own brothers. Be it by different communities, be it by certain people in the community, and they always knew: As you jew your options are very limited when it comes to fight your enemies. The same as you are limited with a lot of other tempting things in life you are also limited with options to fight someone who does wrong things against you. It’s painful, but yeah I know so many people who got run over by other Yiden even in yodishkeit things and the precedent was always: as a jew the only thing you can do is cry in bed. And the fact that this precedent is being broken now tells me that the case in itself is not as big as you think.
So Skver is wrong. Period. So that’s why you also wanna be wrong? But seriously are we that low to talk names in public??? And make a website?? There is only 2 hatred websites in Rockland county against Jews. Preserve ramapo and this one. Sadly both are Jews against Jews. So yeah I guess it’s a pattern in our blood. But if you realize it’s not about what the story is it’s the fact that there Jews against Jews fighting publicity which is crazy and if you do the right thing you might be mesaken that nature that we Jews have (to fight each other).
I’ll finish with one thing dont sell me “we have 12 rabanim” because you and I know how easy it is to cook up a few rabanim and get them heated up. You don’t need to be Mossad to achieve 12 signatures.
thats what you say on rabanim??? They are pure they are smart. Making mistakes? That you can just say on the 40 skvere rabonim
if not for skver terror all rabbanim including skverer dayanim would sign against the skevere askanim/rebbe [look at skverer dayan of Lakewood ]not only 12 .
btw that’s why other chasidushe rabbes are not signed there
shtusim this is going on from all sides the mile around the hole(shtetel) of the bagel
There are people from all around who support it and there people from all around who don’t.
What about his other points?
Reading all this makes my blood boil. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Because I went trough same in Linden. First few years they had a vaad that didn’t let you buy yourself a house in entire Linden . They harassed , they went to seller to warn him , intimidate him and us . Ask anyone in Linden about that. I won’t forgive them ever.
Enough is enough !
”Everyone” could buy “anywhere” for “living” or for “investment”. No ones business who “he” is or what “tenants” he puts in.
If you consult the Torah, you might find out differently.
See Choshen Mishpat 176 for more information.
the only reason you wanted to in linden is because they controlled it you should be makir tov for them
if not it would still be a non Jewish neighborhood
KUFEE TOVAH u should be thanking them
As someone living in the mile let me make clear the points we wanna bring out because everyone sounds confused.
No, they don’t prevent us from buying here, they let us buy anywhere. Maybe they sometimes bid higher that’s ok like everywhere.
It’s just we don’t want them to buy and rent out in the mile. The mile belongs to us. That’s our fight. Buy anywhere like willi. Etc put in anyone you want.
But not in our mile .every tenant in the mile should be tziniusdig. We are 500 families.
williamsburg is at fault they shouldnt have spread to new areas.
we are here to spread.
Unfortunately it’s probably a matter of time until the FBI will start picking up some people in Skver…
What a shame will that be…
Why does Skver need another shameful story like with the burning of the house decades ago?!
Have they learned nothing?!
They are playing with FIRE!!!
I know few individuals that are ready and willing to escalate this to authorities (maybe they’ve already did), my recommendation to all homeowners that are involved in illegal activity, GET RID OF THESE HOUSES ASAP!!!
DONT LET YOUR KINDERLACH VISIT TATTY IN PRISON!!!
Major news: we had a (unofficial)meeting me and few others folks here in the mile area with few Skver landlords.{not officially representing anyone} They aired to us idea. They said from the 350 houses like 40 are filled up with sro{ mainly bought by them recently}.because the high mortgage rates and high prices{ they blame us for bidding them to ceiling- partially true} so they made the calculations that changing tenants would cost them all together like 800000 dollars a year{average 20k each} they hope to be able to refinance by next year to cut even. So they said they’re ready to loss 10k each and asked if our community {few hundred families} would help with other 10k and they’re ready to evict the sro’s. We gave it in to them. What a chutzpah! we’re not losing a penny on this. We’ll rather call nightly police go to court do whatever needed to give them the lesson . It’ll take a year 2 or 3 that’s fine. But no deals with these sickos
No way! If it would’ve been about the sro’s I’d easily pay the 1k together with 400 families to get rid of them. {And I would fight for Williamsburg and other places too}
It’s not about sro tenants {maybe that helps us getting Rabonim on our wagon} .
It’s about them owning houses in our neighborhood. We want them out of here. Leave the area for good. They dnt belong to own anything out of their getho . We want them to feel their losses in their pocket.
We came here to buy to show them they won’t have any authority in the mile..
You’ll sell those stories to someone else. I think you’ll be great at selling fiction novals.

Thank god for first time in history we have a legit platform with a haskama of Rabbi Schabes to teach other people some stuff in life.
We won’t give this up so fast. It’s amazing bh people come in with good stuff and gossip true and not true. Who cares. It does serve the agenda of platform.
Just wondering why they didn’t feel that’s important to go with Daas Torah till now, i guess NS hats negative press… from my understanding there was meetings with R’ Shabbos all of these yrs but Mendy Berger just chished around so now all of a sudden they’re playing the victim game???
Dear freinds. our platforn is being compromised.
I think we should take of this guys{Aron mendy} comments. He’s not serving our agenda. He sounds like someone filled with hate. Barking like a dog. In order to be successful and bring out our survival cry. Take of the unneeded haters from this platform.
He’s for sure not living here. Maybe he belongs to be on other side.
I wouldn’t wanna be in same platform , my kids watching his comments.
In case you didn’t notice, the comments section here is fully uncensored.
Skver’s mehalech is to suppress the voice of those who are not fully aligned with them or who can expose them.
Looks like Ichud Kehilos took the opposite approach: We have a legit mission to defend our community and we are not afraid to debate because we know we’re doing what’s right.
Look i totally feel your pain, that regime has been doing this for 50 yrs now, but it was all done so the outside st doesn’t know, so now that the negative press is going public you guys are panicking.
officially the reason for the mile is the Tatte z”l but all the other things that was changed that he has mesires nefesh, is totally out of the window, like pictures or going swimming or girl camps…. look i know all the garbage and i can go on and on….
5th name is Rabbi Steinmetz from Boro Park.
Now each and everyone of this 5 Dayanim has more shaalos a day then the 12 rabbonim that signed your letter have full a year.
So when so much written in all your comments about Daas Torah . Let’s start listening. Blog and platform here closed right now.
Also amazing how from their side no one is busy with this nonsense sitting and writing all garbage. To the fact that I didn’t know till now that they actually beg to go to Din Torah.
They Dont sit online fighting like all peeps her . so we really dont even know what they really say . and people get just one sided info.
There’s one “small” difference between the Skver and Ichud Kehilos rabbanim you forget to mention: The Skver dayanim were forced by the ones like Mendel Berger to sign VS the Ichud Kehilos rabbanim signed – even though they knew they will be terrorized by skver for signing.
I personally know a few rabbanim who didn’t sign on the Ichud Kehilos kol korei and said they totally agree with it and would love to sign but they cant afford to get the terror from Skver.
And… as of a btw… The holiness and credibility of a rabbi doesnt go up or down depending if he belongs to your chassidus or if you ever heard his name.
Just for an example, Rabbi Pearlstein, served as a Dayan on R’ Nissim Karelitz’s Beis Din for many years, currently serves as the Rosh Kolel of the Choshen Mishpat Kollel of Monsey, and still serving as a moreh horaah for the kav halacha in Yerushalayim.
Being ignorant doesnt make you right.
let me teach you something, in this place anyone from outside is a joke and not really someone to respect, that how they teach their kids. they ones got afraid that R Meilech Biderman who’s well respected by all elements of Klal yisroel is going to be mashpia on some people there who’s looking for ways to get closer to Hashem so they had someone speak to the Bucherim in Yeshiva that R’ meilech isn’t going in the right Mesoira so not allowed to go to him…..
Nuta, do you know who this “Aron Mendy” is?
He is so full of hate, and while we are fighting for our right to live in a safe environment, he’s just a hate filled bitter individual. I’ve read through his comments, and not one of them relates to the mile. It’s all just smear and dirt.
I don’t know who this sicko is, but he’s definitely not helpful to our cause. We are not haters of skver. We don’t hate anyone. We’re just looking to live in peace. This makes us look bad. I wish these comments would be censored.
He’s probably some Rachmenstrivk guy, who all of us know could only have minyan if they built on hate against skver.
Again, to everyone on this platform, we are not haters. Were people that bought houses and look to live safely and calmly.
Aron Mendy does not represent us, and he does not promote our agenda. We actually wish to have a good relationship with our wonderful skver neighbors.
Same here, I guess it’s up to they guys running the site to decide of it pays having an open comments section or not.
its just for fake.
they are not interested to go to beis dinall they want is to look like TZADIKIM in the street. just because everybody looks now …..what fakers they are if they don’t answer
and even if they just want to shlep din torah for ten years and meanwhile…………………..
they will just drag this din torah for 10 yrs and chish arim…
obviously if they were serious about the Torah they could of gone for yrs already, its just a way to trick the system
Hi Nuta.
Are you living in the mile?
I want to talk to you on the phone.. please contact me on
(845) 354 – 9595
thank you
You got anything to hide that cant be discussed here or you want to get my number so you can have the whole Skver yeshiva call me at random times after midnight like they did to Meir Hersh Berger?
Do you try to call them so you know they are not interested???????
You are not interested in going!!!!!!!!!!
The same guys who are behind the Skver BD letter tried to publish a forged letter from our rabbanim that supposedly asks us to stop our campaign.
This is their form of manipulation and pulling us around untill we give up. We know their game and how to play it.
After reading through the hundred-plus comments here, one thing stood out clearly: the tone is very lopsided. On the anti-Skver side, you see clusters like:
1. Name-Calling & Insults
“Shoita…” | “talking non sence” | “shtusim” | “What a bluff” | “go seek help immediatly” | “you will never be able to” | “You should be ashamed” | “don’t know which religion you follow”
2. Demonization & Extremist Labeling
“To side with Skver is siding with terrorism.” | “Skver mafia” | “Regime” | “Cult” | “like lev tahor” | “Crusade” | “They dnt belong to own anything out of their getho”
3. Attacks on Leadership / Community Character
“control freak paranoia” | “no menchlichkeit there” | “the rebbe is paranoid” | “control of his puppets”
4. Absolutist Condemnation (claiming Hashem / Halacha / law)
“Imagine you learned the Halacha” | “the Torah says it is forbidden” | “I’ll tell you what Hashem hates” | “a matter of time until the FBI will start picking up some people”
5. Stubborn Resentment & Underlying Hate
“wont slow down for anything” | “hope… this bubble will bust” | “We want them out of here… feel their losses in their pocket” | “We came here to buy to show them they won’t have any authority in the mile”
That’s the consistent style: insults, extremist labels, absolute condemnations, and open resentment. From those pushing back, you don’t see that kind of tone — just modest clarifications and fact-checking.
Meanwhile, the actual official Skver letter is written calmly, urging din Torah, respect, and peace. That’s worlds apart from the hostility above.
So what should an outsider believe? I’d lean toward the side that stays eidele and ethical — not the side resorting to smear tactics and astroturfing with a vulgar recording. And you really want people to think that is the “example response” from the Skverer yungeleit?!
I cant talk for anyone but myself. Im ready to back up and debate every comment I said here.
Cherry picking a few strong words from entire conversations wont make you right. The truth has to be said even though it might sometimes hurt.
In regard to the letter from the Skver BD, I’m btw not convinced it’s authentic as it is being promoted by the same cronies who tried to publish a fake letter from our rabbanim.
Sorry but crying “Im the nice guy” while actively working on destroying a Frum community does not work with me. Our rabbanim and askanim tried every civil mean possible to get this resolved nicely for many years. They even sat with the Skver rebbe, but nothing changed. It just got worse.
Now when they see we mean really business they think they’ll release a letter and everything will stop in a microsecond? Sorry my friend, it doesnt work like this.
but why now??
why not the last few yrs when R schabos tried working a deal out?
Square hates negative press so they need to play a different game now
Even more sad that this is a officially a uncensored platform.
Why don’t they keep it censored to focus just on the mile?
The only reason I believe they let every hater write whatever lies and twisted stuff they want is, hoping some ignorant people will buy all the garbage they sell . This was always the tactic by the left press about Frum Jews , the Post and Forward, preserve Ramapo . Every “orthodox Rabbi ” caught with something, we all got smeared. Now this platform does it much uglier to Skver!
You can just start selling some of the books by ex orthodox and just edit whenever it says “orthodox Jews” put in “Skver” instead
I’m coming out wth my own name. Not hiding like all of yous.
I’m watching this blog . I would bet that not one person living in Skver commented. I am part of them. They dnt know there’s a platform like this. And their much more mature then writing some stupid comments. That’s not the way of fighting , and for sure not of dialog.
We have much to say , what some people pro Skver responded here, But much much more. But where a letter of a strong Beis din of Skver can be so smeared like Nuta did here, shouldn’t be the place to respond. Look in יור”ד סימן שמב not less then in חרם
Would love to know who he really is to follow some years. My experience is people talking like this paid consequences. Rl
Of course, Skver’s way of fighting is not comments… They know their terror game pretty well, burning people etc. But let’s not go there. Let’s try to stick to the subject of the mile.
As of a BTW im not really convinced the Skver BD really signed on the letter. The same people who forged a letter (not) signed by our rabbanim and tried to publish it in the local newspapers are behind the Skver BD letter.
Also, does Skver have a different Shulchan Aruch? This is not the first time some Skver guy quotes something that totally off subject. Please check what you quote before you do unless you think people will believe you’re right when quoting a source even it’s about a total different subject.
And about your blackmailing at the end, sometimes the truth has to be said, even though it hurts and as long I’m sticking up for the truth and im on the side of the ones trying to save a community – not the ones who are actively trying to destroy a Frum community – I know I’m good.
just ask around how long they ignored the fact that someone from the headquarters was molesting kids and they knew well about it but they played the stupid game until it hit home…. that been their mentality all the yrs
Hi everyone , met some Skvere .
He told me there’s no 500 people in mile . Less then 100. He’d give me 10k if I bring in a list of 150 orthodox families. And claims just 2 Shull in the mile .
so who knows
Sounds like someone is getting rich very soon…
There’s a map on this site with waaay more than 150 yiddish houses.
אדער יא אדער ניין
No, you want it uncensored. Because on the subject of the mile you know it’s not so simple and there are a lot arguments back and forth . Real two ways to look at it.
So you want it uncensored in order to be able to win or at least attack them by smearing about other stuff. Burnings and phony calls, all kinds of gossip{I personally know what your guys did to Skver askanim, shocking stuff. So sad. Wont elaborate because I’m not getting in to this because I know it’s against our values} I think I know who you are. If I figured it out{not sure}. What terrorism you used towards my Uncle{sin of owning house} is shattering.
How do I know you gave up on wining on topic ?Because you’re getting much more aggressive smearing full time almost not staying on the real topic. I feel you gave up on real arguments . You see you can’t sell it good.
Btw my friend just told me that there is some censoring on people giving out the truth about your fight against skver, what unethical means were used to get some of your signatures and other stuff. thanks
We got nothing to hide. Period.
We don’t terrorize. Period.
If you have something to debate, let’s debate it. Saying you have something without saying what is essentially saying I got nothing to say and I’m just fooling around.
Skver Dayanim Are Censored
I was at a meeting in Statan Island Hilton with over 30 Rabonim, including R Kotler, R Vachtfolgel R Harrari-Raful , Sefard, yeshivish & Chasidim. 2 Kvere Dayanim where on the way & where forced to go home.
1 of the Rabonim said the fact that they don’t allow Dayonim to hear the other side is Idol Warship
Come in with more info please
You people just lost it . I don’t know who’s right and wrong. But what’s this smearing a full community?
If someone drived like a maniac at 45 st in Boro park paralyzed a women for life would you blame that entire community of the driver? Or when other driver killed someone on 13 and 50 passing red light would you blame that full chasidus? Monsey people give treifus for klal yisroel because one individual did. Belze try to ruin our Chinuch, because of one Moster.I know your silly answer that they promote this. No they don’t! You’re a liar and just like E. …….N That smeared against the whole Jewish community till Yankel Rosenbaum was killed. Defending this site for putting on some weird recording. And attacking thousands of people, is unacceptable. Could be you started with good intention. But you became a full Jew hater . So much objective commenters made you aware. And you just continue.
I know that it won’t help what I write just the opposite you’ll invent more terrible things this mafia and terrorist are doing. But I needed to write my feelings. And no I wouldn’t say all 500 families are haters just for the 3 people writing with hate. The deafening silent of most of your people shows they don’t agree with hate. Not everything is a mitzvah for your holy war.
So you say that ones there’s a fight everything is Muter , smearing a B”D as if you “really” don’t know if it’s a real letter. So don’t attack them . They do whatever they need in order to win. Ps. don’t know what he meant in Shulchan urich but look in יור”ד סימן שלד המבזה את החכם
Don’t make it sound like a nice story of an individual who happens to belong to a certain chassidus… You know, I know, every Skver chasid knows, this is an organized campaign by the Sk er leadership.
That doesnt mean every Skver chassid is bad. Absolutely not. It’s the guys on top who need to pay the price.
you didnt answer one word of what i wrote
Your main claim was that we’re smearing a whole community, my response was simple: We don’t blame the entire community, we blame the leadership who do it in the name of the community.
I don’t hate Skver Chassidim, I hate the crimes their leadership do to destroy a Frum community. Period.
No one is smearing B’D, we just don’t believe they signed it at their own will, just like Berger and Eisenberger tried to manipulate our Rabbanim to sign on a K’K and published their forged signature without their approval.
btw a חכם is what the torah calls a חכם not who your learship gave positions
Hi Mr. Ben Ribiat,
Thank you for the opportunity to post my comment here.
I’ve been told that you’ve spoken out on various platforms about houses purchased in your area, and that some of your words were directed against me, other landlords, and my community. At first, I was hesitant to be mekabel loshon hora or rechilus. But then I heard you yourself explained that you had a heter from your daas Torah to speak out, and that they even encouraged you to publicize what you see as “wrongdoings” — though you were careful not to cross the line into mesirah.
On one level, it is heartening to hear that you are mindful of your daas Torah and clear about your boundaries. At the same time, I find something quite interesting. As you surely know, I own the house directly across from yours, on 67 Westview. And in the short while since all this began, that property has suddenly been visited by inspectors from every level of government — state, county, and village, from housing, building, health, and more.
Despite the thorough scrutiny, each inspection concluded with the same result: full compliance. No violations. In fact, one official remarked on the frustration of being sent repeatedly with the expectation of finding problems, only to leave empty-handed each time.
Ironically, the only concern raised was about the large camera you installed, positioned directly at my property, which might itself cross legal boundaries by intruding on the privacy of me and my tenants.
So I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you: please be careful about publicly accusing others of breaking the law when, as the facts show, the opposite may be true.
THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE
on other platform some lady wrote and bragged that she called police 4 times in one night .
in same post she was crying how the monsey became so bumy and her grandparents are crying
I’m a tiny bit curious, why do you have a problem with inspections if everything you’ve done is so righteous? I mean, you don’t even live in the house and you don’t even have to know an inspector was there if everything is soon perfect?
I’d just write a drop of what terror I suffered .
Excuse me not best in writing .
How I was called police multiple times on my single tenant . When I got in a new wash machine they called inspectors. While I actually paid thousands for very small construction to do it with permit. Shocking enough the mile neighbor did much bigger renovating without permit. I asked my Dayan he warned me not to call back at him. What I suffered is besides advertising my name and other names in order to get phony calls and harassment calls. My secretary at work was scared to work because calls where made to my business too.
My freind, I bought the house on llc what terror is it to let everyone know that it’s mine? A lot of the readers own houses try to imagine people doing this to you. last 7 years I’m being attacked. Btw much before sro’s were put in any houses. Calling fire department because it smells fire everytime my tenant made a grill. My dayan showed me in shullchan urich the halacha of a Musir. It’s just scary.
I know your silly answer that I’m not that greedy investor , I’m bought it with intention..hmmmmmmmmm. I believe I’m there before this unknown Nuta.
Ok, you buy a house and put in low-lifes to destroy a Frum community while hiding under an LLC and the problem here is that people are calling you out for what you actively do…
I don’t know if I should laugh or cry…
Calling the authorities for things your tenant does is not Mesira, no one reported you. Mesira would be to report your mortgage fraud for which you can be locked up for quite some time.
I have news some for you, there are people working with their own Rabannim to get a Heter to report you as you’re a Roidef, to which Hilcos Mesira is not applicable.
If you’re smart, get your hands clean before this thing explodes.
ou are twisting everything. I have a house with one calm family. No low lives. I bough with my LLC because this is investment. Not to hide. Got it. ?
Why I bought it is not your business. Got it?
People buy everywhere , everyone for his reason. You decided my intention you don’t like. Who cares?
Why are you giving out my name to be terrorised? You people say it openly ” we are here to attack you guys” .
You attack people and crying ask a victim. If you don’t like your neighbors, Take your stuff and leave.
Im not sure i understand your definition of the term terrorism.
There’s a list of 350 houses with their owners, no one has yet taken the effort to make 350 phone calls, let alone more than one phone call per house.
If you got calls its because you actually hurt someone way more than the “pain” of a phone call.
I feel this website is a bizayon. If people have a complaint, step one, not an after thought, is to go to Bais Din. All these excuses (they won’t go, listen etc) are ridiculous. If you do it and they refuse or refuse to use an impartial Bais Din, then maybe this could be justified. Until then this is all an attempt to impose your will through “public opinion”. In addition, everything I’ve heard or seen contains thinly vailed hatred for the isolationist approach at the heart of many Chassidush Hanhagos. It’s obvious you feel you have no claim in Bais Din and therefore need to resort to these disgusting tactics. Shame on you for the rechilus and shame on you for trying to destroy people trying to maintain standards in this day and age.
Skver never wanted and still doesn’t want to go to B’D. The only reason they are screaming now let go to B’D is because of the public uproar and fear of their people being locked up. Without this they didn’t even blink an eye to our complaints the past how many years.
Now that they feel the heat they want us to stop drop and roll to whatever they say after not responding to us the past I don’t know how many years?
Mr. Cohen, we are not that stupid.
Mr. Avrohom Hersh Eisenberger
You write that you “own the house across from 67 Westview.” That is not correct. There are no homes directly across from 67 Westview.
The property you are referring to 21 Westview Rd is owned by your brother, Nuchim Eisenberger (25 Allik Way, Spring Valley), who is renting it out in violation of the law. You yourself live at 21 Washington Ave., Apt 101, and do not own property on Westview.
Cameras are standard in neighborhoods everywhere for safety. When tenants are moved in under questionable circumstances, neighbors would be irresponsible not to protect their families with surveillance. Besides, honest families living legally have nothing to fear from a camera.
The bigger issue is not about this specific house on Westview that you do not own. It is about a deliberate pattern, a policy of buying homes and renting them in ways that damage existing Yidishe neighborhoods. With the goal of creating a Judenrein!
In the end, every house that is bought to hurt another Yid will eventually be forced to comply with the law.
This is not about me vs. you, or one neighbor vs. another. It is about something larger: Skver’s “air mile” policy that pushes out Yidden, versus our community’s right to survive and thrive. That is where the story begins, and that is where it ends.
So I’ll take this opportunity to remind you: be truthful, be honest, don’t encourage others to buy homes as a tool to hurt fellow Yidden, and I beg you don’t bring pritzus to our streets. My block was ruined by your brother Nuchim’s actions. Let’s start with the basics, not hurting another Yid.
Let’s work together towards true Ahavas Yisroel. That doesn’t mean you need to follow my ways, or I must follow yours. That means fully internalizing and understanding that every Yid, whether they Daven like you or live like me, is still part of the same Klal Yisroel. It means seeing each other’s strengths instead of trying to erase each other’s presence!!! It means appreciating that the Aibeshter put us all here together, not to destroy one another, but to build. And certainly it does not mean to destroy each other’s neighborhoods.
You ended by writing, “please be careful about publicly accusing others of breaking the law when the opposite may be true”. I agree, that is exactly the point! You need to be honest, because occupying homes in a way that breaks the law is what truly hurts others.
Ahavas Yisroel does not mean to trample Yidden in the name of someone else’s agenda.
Trying to live as an Ohaiv Yisroel,
Binyomin Ribiat
”In the end, every house that is bought to hurt another Yid will eventually be forced to comply with the law.”
a new heter for מסירה you say it so clear that even if i didnt put any pritzus just i bid higher because i dont want such מסור near me , you are going to do מסירה
now look in halacha what should be done to a מסור – so whatever we do(terrorist mafia in your dirty languge) is the tip of the iceberg what should be done to people like you.
“a new heter for מסירה you say it so clear that even if i didnt put any pritzus just i bid higher because i dont want such מסור near me , you are going to do מסירה”
If you didn’t do anything wrong what will the Mesira be?
Asking for a friend.
are you playing dumb?
You can call authorities on everyone on everything.
Btw love this new heter put it on the site for people to be able to use in Williamsburg Linden Roselle and Rahway, also let preserve ramapo know of the new heter.Btw Nuta, you did some small construction in your house you took a full permit? Your freind too? Why did you make bedrooms in your basement?
Just remember Skver could use same heter roidef as you. You all do the same. So called fraud can be investigated on all of yous.
Roidef has a definition, my friend.
But thats not the point I was making, I replied to his point that he gets inspected even if he’s done everything right. If so why would he care? He doesnt live there, he doesnt even have to know there was an inspection. Obviously he’s lying and he knows and is in pain about the inspections because there’s something more to the story.
Dear R’ Nuta, or whatever your name may be,
It seems you’re the main person behind this platform, so I’m writing this directly to you.
First, let me introduce myself. I am a Skver Chassid, living far from the Skver shtetl, but I am an ardent follower of my Rebbe. The constant smearing happening here—about a Rebbe, a Beis Din, and Yidden in general—is just horrible. You say you tried to reach out to them and clear things up civilly, and that they didn’t respond. If that’s true, it’s frustrating, but it’s no reason to smear an entire holy community. What’s happening here is a massive Chillul Hashem!
To be clear, my Rebbe is a holy Yid. The Chassidus and the shtetl are filled with pure kedushah. Everything the Rebbe and the Beis Din do is for the sake of adding kedushah for their Chassidim. That said, there are some things the Rebbe and the Beis Din say that I have a hard time understanding. This is one of them. It’s not a new thing—in every generation, Rabanim have said things that were incomprehensible to the masses. But to create a platform just to bash an entire community and their Rebbe is simply inexcusable.
Our Rebbe is not a tyrant or a cult leader, Heaven forbid. Anyone who is part of the Chassidus or has ever been to him for advice or chizzuk knows what a pure and kind person he is, and that kedushah radiates from him.
Now, for those of you who want to try and understand why this subject is so important to the Rebbe, here’s some context. The Rebbe’s father started the shtetl in 1956, almost 70 years ago. He moved close to Monsey because there were a few frum families nearby, but he explicitly chose a location far from others because he wanted a shtetl life, not a city life, which he despised and was looking to run away from. He wanted to have a spiritual influence (hashpa’ah) on his Chassidim. (Side note: hashpa’ah doesn’t mean controlling them. Everyone who moved there wanted to be under his influence and accept his derech Hashem.) He understood that if his community was among other Yidden, he wouldn’t have the same influence, because others would bring their own flavor of Yiddishkeit, and that’s not what he wanted. Now, we can understand a bit more why the Rebbe is so insistent that this community stays an enclave, away from outside influences, and not in a bad way—in a spiritual way.
Most people living in the shtetl want to live there. It’s a magnificent, peaceful, and friendly place. The lies being spread here are just not true. Sure, there might be some people who aren’t happy, but the door is open for them to leave whenever they want.
The people who mentioned feeling hated when they came to Skver—that’s such a lie! I don’t know if there’s another place in the world that hosts as many guests as Skver does every single Shabbos. I could go on and on, but I think I’ve made my point. Hopefully, this helps you understand the full picture a bit better.
I agree with everything you wrote. Just I say holy people could have their sensitive point , and could even be wrong. They are human like all of us. And sometimes there are more then one way to look at it. When all rabbis where in fights like Bobov,Belz, Satmar, Viznitz, Klausenburg,Gur. It caused people getting hit buildings burned, people not talking to close ones. And much more,Damage to properties. It’s wrong! But i don’t smear and say one big mafia and terrorism. When one of most respectful rabbis said by every Simcha he came, he wouldn’t forgive on this world and and ever for a picture made. It caused broken cameras. I saw that more then once. It didn’t click with me. but never judged and smeared anyone. When very very Chusivha Rabbonim send out the people for their fight against the מדינה families don’t sleep for weeks have smelling sprayed in their houses by police. Not everyone agrees with everything everyone does in name of קנאות. And for sure mistakes happen. Even some stores got burned not rightfully. I can say the rabbonim do mistakes. Np . But there it finishes. Do I agree with the Frum dati soldier coming in to Davin Mincha. And gets thrown out from must Shulls in some areas. Would I open a site and smear the whole עדה החרדית as a mafia? I can say I feel this is wrong. Period. So now about the shtetl, If you would know (understand)how serious he takes it he begs people to buy ,feeling he’s saving his Shtetel. His father’s last words where “watch my shtetl” Now could be he’s wrong. It was beautiful for 70 yearstime to move on. I don’t know! And again I’m sure that in the process mistakes or worse happen. It justifies your trying to work it out. Try to convince and work with Skver. Or maybe even go live somewhere else . When you bought your house you knew Skver begged you to stay away. Maybe you should’ve listened? He doesn’t own it has no rights . But he did beg you. Maybe for the sake of 2000 families living there you should’ve listened to him. It’s not a secret for years open door anyone for no money. No money to gabaim to be able to seek advice and help and blessings. Almost no where such open door. The whole Flatbush used to be in the waiting room for years. Always involved the most to help like in מציצה בפה or גזירת החינוך or with Tzedek anything for anyone. With ties through politicians and the mayor Spitzer, Opposite of cult life.caring for so much. Nightly tea party’s for every Ruv from anywhere. Can say even overdone. So one thing, please come in to this shtetl sit down with random people and hear the way they feel. I promise you you will be surprised how nice 100 percent of people are, not 80% its such a eidele place. People are so not in to fighting. Yes one story happened by young 17 year old by mistake. But no worries. No one will touch you!
I’m not living there but I’m there enough for years. No differents how tense and pushy it is. Never saw anyone fighting, hitting . No mafia no terrorism. Yes mistakes even worse then that happen like In every yeshiva there’s hurt, staff, boys, and parents. In every Shull there’s politics.People are far from Perfect I know comments of some haters will come. It’s sad but that how media works. When you see such smart people believe israel really trying to do genocide. You can sell people anything.
Thank you for the well written response. While I agree that smearing an entire community online is not right, how do you suggest we go about this to get this resolved? There have already been multiple meetings with NS leadership and it doesn’t seem to be getting anywhere. Supposedly NS agreed to go to Beis Din, although that hasn’t happened yet and I’m not sure what it’ll accomplish since I don’t see how Beis Din will be able to enforce anything.
The real question is why won’t the Rebbe agree to meet with the rabbonim? There have been numerous requests for this and they have all been turned down. If this initiative was the Rebbe’s idea and the rest of NS is just following his will, then shouldn’t the Rebbe be the one responding? All of these meetings and dinei torah will not accomplish anything unless the Rebbe is on board. So why is he inaccessible? If he really cared so much about his kehila (and ahavas yisroel) why wouldn’t he want to meet with the rabbonim IMMEDIATELY to stop this fight? Why isn’t he INSISITING on a meeting to make sholom?
In my opinion, it’s one of 3 options: either it’s past nisht for a Rebbe to meet with these rabbonim, in which case I’ll wave the white flag because then this will never be resolved. Or, he doesn’t want to meet with them because he knows that what he’s doing is wrong and indefensible. Or, he’s not really behind all of this and it’s a bunch of radicals in the community who are causing the problem. All 3 of these are reasons which support that NS is the perpetrator here ans are in the wrong.
Obviously, option #4 is that the Rebbe is 100% right and he has a right to impose his will on the rest of klal yisroel, but if that’s the case why can’t he sit down with the rabbonim and explain that to them? If it’s so obvious then why wouldn’t they agree with him?
Am I missing something?
The irony is that NS hosts mutiple yidden of all stripes for shabbossim. But guess where most of these yidden daven when they come? Not in NS, because they don’t make zman tefilla. They all walk to our shul and daven at 845. Not to mention the fact that community within the mile is supporting NS businesses (Refuah, Maadanim, Pineapple). So is Ok for us to live here or not? If the people within the mile are doing something so terrible then why doesn’t the Rebbe object to any of this?
BTW he had a few other things that he very much wanted, but because it worked better for the PR its no longer a priority, like pictures, girls camps and i can list a few more….
Hey, thats a nice compliment… But no, the campaign is not run by the guy who posts the most commets… That’s just not how things work…
Back to your message, I appreciate your respect and love to your rebbe and community and thats not the subject what im commenting away here at all.
Im commenting about a very specific topic, the attempt to destroy a Frum community in broad daylight.
There’s nothing in the world that will justify it and there no amount of mitzvos that will ever be able to erase it.
That’s not true. The rebbe is ready to talk to everyone, and a lot of rabonim have already come to ask the rebby about this topic and the rebbe explained it very well.
Not sure what that means. He explained it very well? But did they agree with him? Obviously not. He doesn’t have the final say, just because he wants something doesn’t mean that everyone needs to listen. Did Rava agree with Abaya after Abaya explained himself? Sometimes yes, but when he didn’t, he continued to disagree. Yiddishkeit isn’t a dictatorship, one person doesn’t make the rules for everyone.
Yes!!!!!! a lot of rabonim agreed with him including but rabonim of satmer in Monsey.
Holbershtom and Wosner.
The Rov of Ateres Rosh was by the rebby for a long meeting After that, he said that he understood everything. and he did not signed the kol kore
Hi Gedalya, lets say it in short
1. Even if someone makes a mistake doesn’t mean he’s meaning bad or bad person. Speak what you feel about the subject, stay focussed.
2. There are so much perspectives on stuff. I found out here the story. See real 2 sides.ואל תדון את האדם עד שתגיע למקומו 3. Ones people are dragged into a hot situation. Things can go too far{on both sides}. Doesn’t mean that the main objective was wrong.
4. Don’t believe any gossip and half stories. See the good that you could prove with your own eyes.
5. Don’t overwork to teach others a lesson. Do the most in a way to solve with sholom.
6. Even if people our dead wrong its zero excuse to do against the Torah and values to fight back.
I agree with every word! This platform should be closed for sake of Klal Yisroel.
If you belive this platform is a bigger problem than the destruction of a frum community, you gotta double check your belief system.
Good point Milanik. butttttt.
I don’t know what Skver would answer to this. What I can think is about is maybe he feels the Rabbis heading this fight really really won’t understand Skver’s values.
Small story, one of the rabonim leading the fight against Skver, won’t mention name. I had a meeting with him once about accepting a child in a chasidish school in Monsey when family had at home open internet. We didn’t wanna take in the kid. That Ruv was yelling at us very wildly, not respecting at all our values. Showing us very clearly what he things about our גדרים ,he was outright laughing at us. he’s so so far from Skver . He wouldn’t even be able to connect to their ideas.
Someone eating with his wife in restaurant , would understand what’s wrong with grills? With full respect doesn’t understand to these stuff at all
Either say the details so it can be verified or debunked, or acknowledge that you’re just fooling around fabricating stories
girls school in monsey . for respect to the rabbi wont mention name . and i promise i coulve written about that meeting much more.
small hint – a rabbi that yells gets very wild, like a maniac. is liberal in hashkafa. you know who im reffering to.
Im not aware of any such Rav in our neighborhood, either you came out with something that can be verified or debunked or just invent another story.
That’s not an excuse. The Torah doesn’t allow this “holier than thou” attitude . You can’t impose something on others just because you feel that you are frummer.
I’ll flip it around on you. The Skver Rebbe’s son moved to Mcnamara. None of the local rabbonim put out a letter warning them not to move in. They daven after zman tefila. Maybe the rabbanim in that neighborhood should put out a letter warning them not to daven so late since it’ll have a bad hashpaa on the existing litvish community who holds it’s assur? Of course not, because you live and let live and don’t control what other people do.
Skver’s doesn’t impose anything on anyone. How is buying homes next to yours “imposing.”?
You do yours and they’ll do theirs.
Unless, of course, you don’t under the definition of “impose.”
We definitely will do yours to save our community to be destroyed, the only question is if it will be stopped by skver soon enough or it will be stopped by criminal raids.
I was wondering if such meeting happens it’s to work out that Skver should stop buying in the mile, or you’re also ready to sign an agreement that other yidden will stop buying to keep the status quo, if Skver rabbi will convince them his point?.
Because your writing sounds like it’s a one way meeting changing his goal. If so he should rather not sit with you. Din Torah means listening objectively to TWO SIDES.
Are you talking about beis din or a secular mediator? In beis din there such a thing called Torah and in the Torah there’s no such thing as “Mile” and jn the same Torah, its asur to put in truckloads of criminals and people who host half naked parties every other night in front of our shuls.
Too complicated?
Absolutely not, if the Rebbe were to present a good argument which is based on halacha and not on emotions then the rabbonim would surely listen. But…..
Maybe you can’t find such a halacha but just for manners that a big community with a holy rebby are asking klal yisral a tova why can people not buy in a other area if you did not bight already??????
That’s exactly the issue. NS has a “holier than thou” attitude. Holy Rebby? What in the world does that mean? Is he the only holy person in the world? How come no other “Holy Rebby” has this issue with his neighbors?
you did not answer my question….!
you just make litzones
by the way the satmere rebby also have this problem.
Before people were actively moving in the mile ,Skver begged every person trying to buy in this neighborhood not to buy . They put in the papers the made officiall calls begging to leave a buffer zone . They sat with the brokers. THEY ACTUALLY DIDN’T STOP SITTING TO GET THIS SOLVED WITHOUT FIGHTING. But they were ignored , no one wanted to sit a meeting with them . Some brokers found a special interest not to let skver find a dialog.
People were told to knock down the phone on them . And create reality on the ground.
So Skver went to put down their “boots” on the ground by buying houses, and renting them out.
Now you come to Skver crying ” your ruining my community” you missed your chance. Don’t create reality without working it out with your neighbor.
Now I don’t know if Skver is right about the mile. But you NEVER wanted to negotiate with them.
Why are you twisting that just now Skver is ready to go to B”D ? they begged for talk for years. You all know that well.
So again Skver didn’t remind themselves now. You did my freind.
The rabbi himself was talking and begging people and trying to make a certain mehalech. You people didn’t even consider it. Others yes like rabbi Wosner and others.
1. Posting an ad in the community connections in 2015 doesnt mean a litvak who is lipooking to buy in 2017 will be aware
2. Many people live here way before the official request from Skver came out
3. Even if the two above points weren’t true, there’s simply no halacha or legal backing for a mile
4. Even if there was, nothing in the world will ever justify destroying a Frum community
but again
you came here after you knew skver has a problem , you rebuilt your kitchen and bedrooms in basement without a permit.
False
and to add, he’s only doing because of the Tata, i can guarantee you that his father wouldn’t do it under these terms.
That is not true. I moved here in 2012 before Skver said anything to anyone. So now I should move because they told me to? And for the ones who moved in after- why do they have to listen to Skver when the other rabbonim said that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with buying there? Is everything Skver says Toras Moshe Rabbeinu? Nobody can disagree with them?
If you moved in 2012, that means that “you” moved into a Spanish area, and you did not have a problem with all the Spanishe that lived there before NS started to buy…..
Again not true. The area here was not Spanish. It was mostly not Jewish, but they were nice families with single family occupancies. We aren’t opposed to having non-Jewish neighbors, we are opposed to the type and amount of people NS is putting in. If you ask non-Jews in the neighborhood they are also upset about all of the SRO’s in the area.
you cant live in kesser vilage ?sinaas yisroel . youre just like skver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
איך ווייס נישט צו לאכן אדער וויינען
אוי ביזטו גערעכט!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! crying abot tznius when you run away from heimish monsey to this area
Halevai we were only crying about tzniyus. And where in main monsey do you suggest we move to? It’s all chassidish at this point
No one came that im aware of came here to run wpaway from heimish monsey
but Nuta moved much more recent. i spoke about him. btw you havebedrooms in basement?
Skver has the right to beg, and if people still decide to move they still have no right to do what they’re doing unless they are mafia’s like Putin, I’ll even say more that could be that they’ll chish around at bes din for 10 yrs and they might even come out right, but up in shumayim they will for sure pay the price, because it’s usar lchul hadeies, even if people didn’t listen doesn’t give you the rights to do sheigez shtik, but skver always did this because they play stupid for the last 50 yrs…..
This is so tragic, especially coming from a so-called “frum” website with rabbinic backing. You’re waging a direct war against an entire holy community, all in the name of “truth”? This is absolutely horrible and represents the worst level of Chillul Hashem.
You may be too young to remember, or maybe you don’t want to, but for many years, the Lakewood Yeshiva, with its Roshei Yeshiva, made sure that Chassidim were not allowed in. The few who did manage to get in were prevented from opening their own kollelim, ensuring Chassidim remained a minority and their own hashkafos were fully controlled. This was a very understandable thing from their perspective—no one went and smeared the Lakewood Yeshiva in the public square the way you are doing now.
I’m not one to predict things, but the Mishnah does say, “v’havei zohir b’gachalsem” (be careful with their coals). You don’t start up with upstanding Yidden. Period. If you don’t like what Skver is doing, just do what you feel is right—the same way the Chassidim eventually did in Lakewood. But stop this horrible Chillul Hashem from continuing!
The only one that’s waging war against an entire holy community here is Skver, we’re just here to save our community.
Interesting to see that everyone that comes in to defend Square is “really” not even a Skevera…. 😂😂😂
How do you know????????
So again you had no problem moving to a real non Jewish neighborhood full of non modest garbage. I know the area for 40 years. Tell me about it.
So the problem is that Skver puts in tenants not landlords so more full and a little lower guys. I hear. They didn’t take Jewish community and made it non Jewish . They more or less let it status quo.
So for you info. Same exactly is being done in the thousands in Linden Roselle Rahway and Williamsburg and Boro Park .
They are buying from landlords putting in lower class tenants. That’s life.
No one here moved to the Bronx… we moved to a quite area, walking distance to many of our families, right outside monsey.
Yes, when the first few families moved in it wasn’t a yiddish neighborhood yet but it was nice, quiet, and two old people on average living in each house – just like anywhere two blocks away from main monsey or places like Linden etc.
Now, Skver is working around the clock to conver this area to a jungle where it should be dangerous to walk out of the house without security or with glasses due to pritzus.
And about your last line, I hope you’re ready to learn that life is also about paying the consequences of your crimes. As you said, thats life.
Now people that from 2015 have zero right to tell Skver to stop renting out for their tenants. It’s like you’d move to Bronx and you tell a Jewish landlord to evict their tenants because your coming here and wanna build Jewish community.
I know Skver intention is not business . That doesn’t matter.
So anyone coming here could buy what they want in the mile but know who your neighbors are. Got it?
Nope. Sorry I don’t get it.
“from 2015 have zero right to tell Skver to stop renting out for their tenants.” What happened in 2015? They put out a letter asking that the rest of klal yisroel should listen to them? Did Eliyahu Hanavi come and say that? What gives them the right to tell people what to do?
You’re right they can’t tell you what to do.
But they let you know that they own houses that will be rented for tenants. Got it?
You stop telling them what to do with their houses. Understood?
Were not telling them what to do with their houses, were just being nice enough to give them a chance to undo their damage before the feds start their raids on all the crime done here.
No one wants to see that happening, including Mr. Nuta. I’d be sad to see that happening, so please stop what you’re doing for my sake.
its don’t look like you are a “Proud Milenik” its look like you have very a hard time in the mile….!!!! ho ho ho…..! enjoy your friendly navbars……!!! ho ho!!
chill live your are fine nyes
Knockout!!!!
This area was a non Jewish neighborhood. You didn’t have a problem to move in then. In fact, that was probably your intention. You’re the ones that are trying to change the status quote. Skver is simply maintaining it. I love the Bronx metaphor. Imagine a group of yidden moving into the Bronx, and then demanding that others that deal in RE in that area should or shouldn’t put in a type of tenant.
But skver is the one that’s imposing.
Clowns.
Nuta are you still here?
maybe you just changed your name??!!!??/
Wait till he gets up. He lives in Eretz Yisroel, and every morning he goes through every single comment — not leaving one unanswered — just to repeat his strategized line of “destroying a frum community.”
He just woke up… I’m BTW still waiting for an answer for that line…
Im still hanging out there… Nah, I don’t change my name for every comment so it should sound like I got 20 more people on my side… I leave that up to the pro skver guy here who chooses a new name for every second comment…
busy legalizing his basement
find something better to do than post these silly comments – like asking Skver to stop the Sinas Chinam so everyone can stop fighting and go home and live in peace.
you make me laugh , the hate written in this platform about skver is scary- and you speak about שנאת חינם????????????????????????????
read it for yoursef.
go few blocks down speak to the people there i promise you wont hear at all any hate vs your guys –hate nonstop
give it a try , buddy
Calling out someone for their wripongdoing is not hate nor sinas chinam.
I am a home owner in the mile. I asked few dayanim privately “any reason not to buy here?” they told me “go ahead” and you can rent them out.
Now what a chutzpah to call me a Roidef when my daas Torah feels I could or should buy there.?
You people claim Torah Torah but you respect just your rabbi’s not mine.
This is biggest disrespect few of biggest Dayanim in klal Yisroel.
This guy is right. Period . He listens to his Ruv in every area. He does a lot of restrictions in his life because he listens to his Rebbi .What’s this differents? I know what some wild commentator world answer. That the Ruv is biased. Great, so let’s close shop.
Maybe your Ruv is biased against Skver? So if I asked my Belz dayan if I could go to kosel I shouldn’t listen?. He’s biased against the Satmar?
Maybe I should go to Isreal army because the Ruv is scared to let me go because of his position.?
In one word. Every Skvere is supposed to listen to his Dayan and to his rabbi and DO EXACTLY WHAT THEY FEEL HE SHOULD DO.
And when you call him a Roidef . You’ll give דין וחשבון
Not renting out to these kind of people next to jews is an open halacha in shulchan aruch.
Bidding higher than the market value while a jew wants to buy the house to live in is against an open halacha in shilchan aruch.
Putting other yidden in danger is against an open halacha in shulchan aruch.
Renting out to people you know will be making half naked outdoor parties next to a shul is against an open halacha in shulchan aruch.
The list goes on and on….
I don’t know if your story is true but I hope its not. Someone who doesnt care about many basic halachos is not someone worthwhile do even consider calling as a Dayan, and that why I belive you pulled this story up your sleeve.
i really see the other side . These people pro skver are solid clear . i know its not even thier official response.
common sense is on these guys side
What a phony…
The only people visiting this website are the people writing, and we’re having a good time. Thank you, R’ (Nussan) Nuta for providing this awesome platform.
You welcome for crowning me the providers r’ yoske.
Guess what, its pretty cool responding here as well..
It’s time to move on to the next subject of discussion. What do you guys think about Trump and Putin?
Hi. Nute, before we are talking, we have to know more about you.
Are you living in the mile?
If yes. When did you move in?
Also which area are you living in?
How many houses is New Square owning around you?
And how many people are living on your street?
Need to know this.
Let’s go straight to the point, here’s my social: 131-87-6639
A Final Plea
It’s become clear that you are unwilling to listen to the other side. The way you’ve chosen to handle this is very difficult for me to believe that any genuine Torah authority is truly backing you. How could any Torah authority allow such an open display of hate within Klal Yisrael? If they did give you initial permission, they likely have no idea what this has devolved into. I am 100% certain their intentions were different from this outcome.
I see that figures like Rabbi Schabas, who sounds like a seriously choshuv Rav, and even some of the individuals posting on your site, seem like good people and genuine Talmidei Chachamim. This is what truly confuses me. I believe all your site is doing is instigating hate. I highly doubt you are convincing anyone to join your fight; maybe a few bored Skver-haters, but any normal person looking at your posts and comments is shell-shocked by what you are doing. You are only convincing everyone that this is a hate site, making them run the other way.
I used to have a hard time understanding the Machlokes of Korach and his followers. The Midrashim and Mefarshim tell us they were true Talmidei Chachamim and genuinely G-d-fearing Jews. So why would they cause such strife in Klal Yisrael? The Ohr HaChaim HaKadosh asks an even deeper question: they knew that only one person could bring the Ketores, and there were 250 of them! What were they thinking? The answer is that when it comes to a machlokes, the most normal and righteous Jews lose their minds. Their intellect is simply clouded by the thought, “We must win, no matter what.” Nothing rational can be said to them.
I feel I have made my point here more than once, and I don’t have time for this foolishness. It simply bothered me too much to see my Rebbe and his Beis Din—all great Talmidei Chachamim and true Yirei Shamayim —who have never looked beyond their daled amos. Their entire lives are pure dedication to other Yiddin, and yes, even those who aren’t Skver. The Skver Dayan of Boro Park, of Lakewood, and of other cities has the entire city asking them their questions. The Skver Rebbe sits every night until two or three in the morning, giving encouragement, advice, and guidance to multitudes of Jews, not just Skverers. When anyone comes to him, no matter their background, he makes that person feel as if they are the only person in the world. Now, do not dare to claim these holy people are hiding behind Chesed and are really bad, cruel people, ch’v. That is the most horrible thing one could possibly say.
May Hashem help you all find the right way and serve Him in the way He truly wants.
“The answer is that when it comes to a machlokes, the most normal and righteous Jews lose their minds. Their intellect is simply clouded by the thought, “We must win, no matter what.” Nothing rational can be said to them.”
With all due respect the same can be said about the way NS has acted for the past several years by refusing to do anything to fix the problem
“The Skver Rebbe sits every night until two or three in the morning, giving encouragement, advice, and guidance to multitudes of Jews, not just Skverers. When anyone comes to him, no matter their background, he makes that person feel as if they are the only person in the world.”
So the big question is then why has he been unwilling to meet with our rabbonim? Why have we been turned down (multiple times) when asking for a meeting? Meeting with the NS leadership without the Rebbe has proven to be a waste of time.
Mr. L’man Ha’emes,
You accuse us of hate. But what we are pointing out is not “hate,” it is behavior. Families are being displaced, neighborhoods destabilized, kehillos uprooted. That is the issue. If Skver stops this policy and reverts to normal, healthy Yiddishe standards, we will all thrive together. If they continue, the destruction will continue.
You say Torah leaders could never approve of this. Torah leaders throughout history have always called out wrongdoing when it harmed the tzibbur. That is not “machlokes”, that is responsibility.
If we do not speak up, Skver will continue to wipe us out.
Korach fought for power, we are fighting for survival.
When your neighbor’s house is burning, shouting “fire” is not sinas chinam, to quote the exact words of R’ Yisroel Dovid Schlesinger it’s pikuach nefesh!!! But you know better. Our neighborhoods are burning with pritzus and crime. And this is what you defend??
Mr. L’man Ha’emes, let’s talk emes. The emes is Skver must stop the sinas chinam and the destructive policies. Then, and only then, will we be able to stand hand in hand in true achdus to greet Mashiach.
So instead of claimimg we are about hate, I ask you for your Torah perspective. How does the Torah permit one kehilla to destroy another and to make it worse under the banner of chesed? Until you address this question with logic and reasoning, your words are nothing more than noise. Silence is not neutrality, it is consent which makes you an accomplice to the crime!
So once again I declare: SKVER STOP THE SINAS CHINAM!
I will not accept your framing. You are not a hero shouting “fire.” You are a person fanning the flames of discord and hatred. Let’s talk about the emes.
You say your site is about “behavior,” not “hate,” but your rhetoric is full of hate. You claim we are “wiping you out” and that your neighborhoods are “burning with pritzus and crime.” This is not an appeal to truth; it’s an appeal to fear and prejudice. You publicly accused our community of intentionally putting in “low lives” and causing “crime.” To a person truly committed to ahavas Yisrael, this is an unforgivable and baseless slander.
You want a Torah perspective on how one community can “destroy” another? Let’s start with a different question: How does the Torah permit one community to publicly defame another, a chillul Hashem that causes deep division and sinas chinam? Your actions are not a last resort for survival; they are a public shaming campaign. You are the one who chose to make a private dispute a public spectacle.
You claim to be fighting to “preserve the peace,” but your methods are a direct violation of the principles you supposedly defend. You are tearing apart the very fabric of Klal Yisrael by fostering animosity. It is a tragedy that you are so convinced of your own righteousness that you cannot see the immense damage you are causing.
You say “silence is consent,” but your voice is not one of a hero. It is the voice of a person so blinded by their own self-righteousness that they are willing to burn down the entire house to save a single room. The true path of ahavas Yisrael is to build, not to destroy. Your crusade is not about building; it is about tearing down a community you have decided is the enemy.
With this reply, I am done. I realize that by continuing to comment here, I am also fanning the flames of machlokes. I am no longer going to participate in this discussion.
There’s many levels of lying.
There’s the guy who is lying but is ashamed himself.
There’s the guy who is lying who is proud of himself.
There’s the guy who is lying and is so proud the he doesn’t care everyone knows he’s lying.
And then there’s the one who is so proud that he even called himself L’man Ha’emes.
_____________
Skver never hid the fact why they buy houses in the mile and what they do with the houses in order to keep jews out of the area.
I’m just gonna quote word for word what R’ Meir Schiller (the rebbe’s friend and unofficial english spokesperson of skver) said on the rischa deoreisa podcast a couple of weeks ago explaining Skvers mehalech:
“Buy up the properties, sell them to people who would be difficult to live together with – more high crime communities, and to create multifamily dwellings for, you know, 40-50 people in a house so that this would become an uninhabitable area for orthodox Jews.”
Stop any random Skver yingerman on the street and he will tell you this – unless he is ashamed enough.
Hi proud! You sound to me like a reasonable smart person. You and me know no side will give up and just stop. You sound that you really want שלום. And I believe you realize something bothering for Skver to become slowly but surely circled as part of Monsey. You can read what some people explained.
Now, what’s about a deal, as follows. Skver stops putting in sro’s looking for higher class single family tenants.( and loss their pants)
You people from other side leave status quo from now on. Not to expand. Meaning, your brokers don’t fight Skver and bid against them to screw up prices. And let them buy it for much less and put in quiet non Jews.
You should be ok. As you came here 2012 there were much less yiden then now. So you don’t need Keser village style. Correct.
Would you agree to something like that?
I think Israel should do this deal as well, Let Hamaz keep all the hostages and let Israel keep all the arrested terrorists…
What a joke… Israel is arresting terrorist, which is indisputably right, Hamas kidnaps kids which is indisputably wrong.
People are buying houses in the mile to have a ceiling over tneir head, no one buys to piss off Skver.
Skver is buying houses in the mile to keep it Judenrein, which has no standing in Halacha, law, or basic human dignity.
There is no reason in the world to stop a yid to buy a house here while there’s every reason in the world to stop Skver from buying here.
Simple enough or you still dont get it?
So sorry. I’m a just a bystander(not Hamas, Skver)
I was just thinking that we can tackle the 3 biggest issues 1 Low gangsters on the street2 the tzenut issue , party’s etc3 the fighting and machlokes
So they will not be a Roidef anymore. And make damage.
The only thing will be that other people will need to go to other areas to look for houses.
Maybe be smart and not right?
I believe Skver would agree to such a deal.
In order to care for klal Yisroel they should be able to expand to this area, you’ll meanwhile let all these wild party’s tzniut and fights happen?
Maybe?
So let’s make it clear the fight is about real estate ,aand not letting skver do something wrong. not about destroying a Frum community. Correct?
Obviously if this the only way to get rid of the crime and pritzus, I would go for it. I explained why this shouldn’t be the go to deal.
Why shouldn’t my brother be able to move next to me? Because someone a 3/4 mile away decided this area has to be judenrein?
Why shouldn’t this be a normal Frum neighborhood like any other? Because someone decided so?
I’d let my rav make the decision on how we settle, not skver.
your right ” buddy”
Refraze – “we wanna be able to buy anywhere“
Drop now that stupid slogan ”uprooting a frum community ” or rodef- once and forever stop playing as you fight for kedusha .
you became the laughing stock of town .
Moshy
Expansion can and does happen in many communities. Vizhnitz, Satmar, Belz, and it happens naturally, without destabilizing or hurting others. Neighborhoods change, and when a Yid buys a house, chooses to live there, or even rents it out responsibly, no one objects. That is normal and healthy growth.
What we object to, and what no Yid should tolerate:
– A deliberate policy of destabilization.
– Planting “low-lives,” and crime
– Planting pritzus
– Ripping apart Kehillos
These “plantings” are not expansion. It is destruction. It is a campaign of sinas chinam. That is why we fight.
If Skver wanted genuine expansion, it could be done with derech eretz, without planting chaos into someone else’s kehilla. The proof? All around Monsey, kehillos have expanded successfully without ripping others apart.
Relatives of mine were living near Charedim in Monseym, and next to R’ Shmuel Feivelsons Yeshiva. The neighborhood changed and they moved out. Guess what? They weren’t upset, because it happened in a mentchlich way.
This is not about real estate. It is about a Judenrein policy that directly damages Yidden. And as long as that policy continues, it must be opposed. If Skver stops the sinas chinam and returns to normal Yiddishe standards, there will be no fight. Instead, there will be achdus, respect, and growth for all. And if they want to move into these areas, b’kavod gadol!
Until then I declare: SKVER STOP THE SINAS CHINAM!
btw i asked ”proud” not you Nuta because the hate and fight mode by you is exreme . i wanted to hear from someone that sounds he DOES want a שלום
If asking Skver to simply follow the halacha and stop what they’re doing period is extreme, you mupight be right.
Hi Moshy- thanks for your response. I wish we wouldn’t have to compromise because I really don’t understand NS side at all. But sometimes the only option is to compromise as that’s the only way to make sholom.
If we want to talk about compromises, then I think a fairer option would be that on blocks which are not directly leading into NS they should sell or occupy with single family tenants. NS should also not buy any new houses on those blocks. However, there are some blocks which are closer to NS which don’t have many frum yidden, I would allow NS to buy those to create a buffer zone. If you look at the map there are a few blocks which are right off 45 and across from Charna or NS entrance. I would sacrifice those blocks IF I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE since those are directly across from NS. But there’s no reason to sacrifice the blocks which don’t lead right onto Rt 45. That’s overkill and unnecessary paranoia on NS’s part.
Obviously it’s not going to be so simple because even on those blocks there a some frum yidden, so maybe we say that they should give a buffer of 5 houses past those. Obviously, this is all b’dieved, but lmaa’n hashalom I think this is the best compromise.
Not to stir the pot again, but FYI NS did agree to this a while back (2015?) but they reneged on the agreement soon after and starting buying houses everywhere.
whatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt??? your peole kept it for a half second??????????? you didnt respect at all the rebbi and his askanim looking for dialog
What a chutzpah Nuta. You can speak for yourself not for the full community.
If I know that they clean out the sro’s and I can live my calm life, modest , without all this balagan , I would grab it.Hope Skver would and will agree.
There are other places to live. Don’t help God
Not your issue that more people should move in. Your helping hashem. Mind your own business.
It’s sounds that your here with a mission that Skver shouldn’t do wrong stuff.
That’s not what bothers most of us. Your fighting in a way that real solutions won’t happen.
As I replied to moshy, I would obviously agree to such if thats the only option but it should be.
And what the options should be is up to our rabbanim to decide. Not me, you, skver, or moshy.
I’m not an askin or a spokesperson; I’m a simple Skverer, a bystander witnessing a horrible act of sinas chinam. You claim Skver is out to destroy you, to deliberately make your neighborhood unsafe with violence and pritzus. You know very well that this is the tool you use to try and bring Rabanim to your side.
This is such an outlandish lie that it’s beyond belief. Do you honestly think the Skver Rebbe and his chasidim have nothing better to do than make your lives miserable? Are you out of your minds? Did any of you, even once, go to the Rebbe or one of the Dayanim and ask why Skver is buying houses and why they are putting in tenants you find undesirable? If you had, you might have heard an answer and could have avoided this whole horrible affair.
The emes is simple, and I already mentioned it, but perhaps I wasn’t clear enough. The Rebbe wants the shtetl to be a closed-in community to maintain a hashpa’ah he believes is right for his chasidim. The same way Lakewood wants its own hashkafa, the same way Flatbush never fully embraced Chassidim, and the same way every other community—whether it’s Viznitz, Satmar, or Belz—wants to keep its unique derech. That is simply their shittah.
Most Yidden living in Skver have never had or even seen a backyard barbecue or a baseball game. There are no swimming pools. Women dress in a specific way, men in another. The idea is to maintain a certain identity. To the Rebbe, this identity is so important that he felt there needed to be a buffer zone—not to destroy you, but to protect our own way of life.
The Rebbe’s and the askanims’ idea was to buy up any houses that went up for sale next to Skver to create that buffer. The fact that they are now inhabited by goyim who might be disruptive is not to make you run away. It’s because they have to get the highest-paying tenant to cover the mortgage on a house they bought for one sole purpose: to fulfill the will of their Rebbe.
You can spin this however you want, but you are not talking to the people who make these decisions. Your public campaign is a massive chillul Hashem.
L’maan Ha’emes,
“It’s because they have to get the highest-paying tenant to cover the mortgage on a house they bought for one sole purpose: to fulfill the will of their Rebbe.”
But why does the Rebbe’s will trumps anyone else’s? That’s not how yiddishkeit works, other rabbonim are allowed to disagree. And our rabbanim feel that what NS is doing is k’neged halacha. I’m not in agreement with some of the other posters here that NS is so terrible. I just don’t understand why they are going about this the way they are. They published a letter (which most people didn’t see) 10 years ago which stated the Rebbe’s will. That’s very nice but that’s not where it ends. The other side has a right to disagree. And instead, despite the fact that they are harming other yidden they continued to ignore our will for 10 years. There have been multiple fruitless meetings which went nowhere, and they just continue buying and buying. Ideally Beis Din should be able to resolve this, but I don’t think anyone truly believes that they will. So it comes back to the same question I’ve asked numerous times (which nobody has answered): why doesn’t the Rebbe agree to meet to explain his position? Why can’t our rabbanim have an audience with the Rebbe to discuss this? The way it’s being done is unacceptable. You can tell me all day that the Tatte wanted this, but if yidden are being harmed by it then you have to be open to addressing that and not just ignore it like they’ve been doing for many years.
Judy, again . Skver actually agreed! And deals can be daily . We can stop the bleeding right now.
Last few years they slowly started putting in these sro’s . You could’ve stopped it right then. Agreement to status quo. But some decided they’d rather lose and ruin their community to teach Skver a lesson.
2015 almost was deal Brokers were going from house to house to beg non Jews to sell. Not greedy brokers, just brokers out to teach Skver. Working as a group making sure no פשרה happens
Pritzus crime on streets and machlokes are all secondary to showing them they are not owning the mile.
Sorry I need to inform you how horrible actions people that are officially fighting for you can do to you. I really feel bad how you are suffering because of them.I know that the fight is so called for kedusha.
Nope, It’s about winning. This Nuta just blew it.
Don’t know if everything Skver is doing is right. But they’re not looking for this mess.
Someone that says it openly the main goal his brother should live near him.(sorry pritzus) he’s looking for all this.
You can take some tissues and wipe is tears.
I’m happy to hear Nuta so much loves us as Khumeini loves Jews living in Iran.
I’m done with this platform.
Ps. “Proud” used the word paranoid again. So paranoia go a mental issue, name calling attacking smearing is המכנה שם לחבירו ,המבייש חבירו ברבים ,המבזה תלמידי, חכמים אין לו חלק לעולם הבא
Here’s the definition of paranoia: .
unjustified suspicion and mistrust of other people or their actions
This is not a mental issue and I never said it is. It’s an unjustified fear that people living more than 15-20 minutes walk from NS are somehow going to affect NS’s shtetl. You can’t impose your paranoia on others if it is hurting them . If you can prove that halachically we did something wrong by moving within a mile then we’d be open to hearing it. But to this day I haven’t heard one word about that. It’s all about protecting the shtetl with no halachic basis

At least you’re not denying the fact that you live across the ocean… just meddling in from afar.
I guess we’ll see your next reply Motzei Shabbos.
https://withinthemile.com/the-stall-game-is-over/#comment-345
You really think I’m your fool and I’ll sit here and argue about every conspiracy someone decides to pick at me?…
Im here to debate and defend public known facts about what’s going on in the mile. Not to go back and fourth about my or your personal details.
I see… still not denying it.
And you know I’m not saying this just abi.
Again “proud” the Rebbe can’t and doesn’t impose on you anything.
You didn’t do anything wrong in “hallacha” by buying in the mile.
The rebbe for whatever reason wants something and he does have thousands of followers that want to help him with this. They from their own will invested few hundred million in this. It just showing you what he obviously does and means for them.
But you wanna impose on Skver where they should buy whom they should put in to live.
You are the ones feeling that you have right to tell others what to do.
Most of yous(I’m not speaking about you) came after they owned hundreds of houses and you wanna control a other community they shouldn’t be able to buy and rent out Sorry we are in a free country and stop putting terror on others.
I WOULD URGE ANYONE BELONGING TO SKVER HELP YOUR REBBE AND COMMUNITY. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO BUY WHEREVER YOU WANT. NO ONE CAN AND SHOULD CONTROL YOU.
Now using the stupid language as yudenrien is funny.
If I own 10 acres around my house I’m supposed to sell that your brother should be able to live there.? Someone wants quite. And they don’t want your brother or freind there. Got it?????
The Dayanim say there’s no hallacha issue with doing this. Got it? If you have a problem with this go to bes din against your neighbor. Btw side note using the slogan of chillul Hashem and actually calling on the non Jews police and ice is astonishing.
Love every Jew doesn’t mean I most want you as my neighbor. Got it? Stop stupid sinaas chinum slogan , and stop spreading real sinaas chinum. That can cause non reversible damage.

I didnt know the mile is in a building, I also didnt know you consider a block full of jews a block full of gentiles. Maybe because they’re not skver.
nuta, drop the halacha now, please back to slogan ”’ destroy a Frum community.”’
You guys dont really care for both, it doesnt really matter.

no , our dayanim hold that you can buy and rent out .
once and for all.
gotttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt itttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt??????????????????????
First off, I want to say that I don’t agree with everything that has been said and done on our side. The way it’s being handled is not good. But from all of the responses I’ve seen from NS on this site, and from what we’ve heard from NS leadership at the few meeting we had, it’s the same thing over and over again: too bad. This is what the Rebbe wants
I still haven’t gotten an answer to my question. Why won’t the rebbe meet with the Rabbanim? Why is this playing out the way it is? Why is it our achrayus to listen to the Rebbe? I’m not CV saying bad about him, but I think NS has a hard time understanding that there are other sects of klal yisroel who have their own mehalach and own rabbonim. R Schlesinger is calling this pikuach nefesh! But doesn’t he know about the Rebbe’s will???
“Most of yous(I’m not speaking about you) came after they owned hundreds of houses and you wanna control a other community they shouldn’t be able to buy and rent out Sorry we are in a free country and stop putting terror on others.”
We can debate this from today to tomorrow. All I know is that there’s been a shul in my neighborhood for close to 10 years. You can say what you want, but we have a presence here and it’s disrespectful (and kneged halacha) to just ignore our will entirely. Every meeting that has happened ended nowhere. Skver is unwilling to compromise one bit.
So what do you suggest our community do right now? What do we do about the fact that we already have a shul with 60+ families? What are they all supposed to do? Just pick up and leave so that they listen to the Rebbe’s will? What about the fact that right across from our shul Skver put in 10s of illegals who have parties with loud music and non-tznius women on shabbosim? Where in halacha does it say that is muttar? There is the Rebbe’s will and then there is crossing the line. I’m sorry but anyone who can’t admit that NS has crossed the line is not paying attention. Do you really believe that HKBH wants his batei knessios to be surrounded by such pritzus? What if this were to happen is NS? What would the reaction be?
I don’t think HKBH wants us to smear NS either and that is not my intent, or the intent of most people in my community either. But there has to be some room for compromise.
When you see the language of NutaI’d ”let my rav make the decision on how we settle, not skver”. you see their real intention. Not really looking for peace.
If yes you can write ” I believe both sides will need to give in a little for real Shalom ,rabbonim from both sides should sit and negotiate till a good agreement is reached”
and about the halacha let the bes din decide if this is called שכונת יהודים. we bought it before it was called for sure. but even now i doubt. i thin k you can prepare your moving truck.
When I see mendel berger and eisenberg publishing a forged letter in the name of our rabbanim i know your intention, your not interested in working this out in beis din.
שכונות יהודים is just one of many many many basic halachos you guys don’t care at all, I just happened to mention it in regard to a particular comment.
And BTW its a great idea for you guys to prepare moving trucks. The SROs here will be wiped out one by one, the only question is how much pain you guys will be wanting to suffer between now and the day they’re out.
keep up with your smearing and all kinds of false stories . I BET NO ONE BY NOW BELIEVS A WORD YOU SAY. YOU ! YOR PROVED YOURSELF!
No one is asking you to believe me, you can call up the monsey view, connections, Rabbi Shabbes, and Rabbi Schlezinger to confirm the story.
Of course I know you won’t call, it’s easier to pretend it never happened.
Hi Nuta, I see you’ve repeated this claim quite a few times, so it’s worth setting the record straight. I have close ties to Rav Schlesinger, longstanding connections within Skver, and relatives who were directly involved in this matter. Through these channels, I was able to verify the facts.
The letter in question was not forged. It was authentically signed by three respected rabbanim — R’ Chaim Hacohen Schabes, R’ Moshe Nadoff, and R’ Yisroel Teichman. Their signatures were confirmed, and the letter was in the process of gathering additional endorsements. Askonim working to resolve the issue in a Torahdig way brought it to the Monsey View for publication, so it could serve the exact purpose for which it was written: to emphasize that disputes belong in Beis Din, not in public forums.
Where things shifted was afterwards. One of the rabbanim, upon hearing it would appear in print, became uncomfortable and reached out to Skver asking if it could be withdrawn. By then, the magazine was already printed. To avoid machlokes and maintain shalom, Skver covered the cost of a full reprint without the letter. That was the only reason it didn’t circulate.
This version of events is not hearsay. It comes directly from three separate firsthand sources: from Skver itself, from acquaintances of the rabbanim, and from the magazine administration. The claim that the letter was “forged” is simply not true. The rabbanim did sign — sensitivities and peacekeeping are what kept it out of print.
Elimeilech or whoever you are,I knew the real story didn’t bother to answer. Because now will come other lies.
You can see he’s not here for the truth. I just said simple stuff about the halacha , he wouldn’t acknowledge the truth.
In response some more accusations to come.
First of all thank you for exposing yourself, as Berger, Eisenberg or another guy in your gang.
Writing a different name on every comment won’t make you more innocent, its just the same 1-2 guys using a new name for every comment.
Back to the discussion, you said something that could actually sound like that happened, but I have an interesting question here… What’s pshat of signing a kol korei but not letting it go out? Does it make any sense to anyone or does it ring an alarm that theres more to the story?
The previous mentioned gang went to Rabbi Schabes, (the rabbinical leader in the extended litfish community here) acting like nice guys who are just looking to do good and told him skver is ready to go to beis din.
R’ Schabes, who is a holy jew and tremendous talmid chacham – not a gang expert – told you that he might agree to go to beis din – not knowing you’re just pulling his legs and trying to manipulate him.
He wasn’t ready to publish anything before he discusses it in detail with his fellow rabbanim, to make sure he doesnt fall into your traps.
Once you guys got a half of a word from him, you ran with your kol korei to the other two rabbanim, exclaiming that “R’ Schabes signed on the kol kerei” the two rabbanim you went to – also bigger experts in halacha than gang plots – took you serious and signed thinking that R’ Schabes promotes this kol korei.
The only problem, he never agreed to this kol korei, it was something he wanted to discuss with the other rabbanim.
What did you do? You sent it in to the publications minutes before printing so our rabbanim shouldn’t have a chance to figure out and call the publications to remove it.
The publications realized that something is off here, they’re getting a letter signed by three rabbanim from Ichud but its sent in by skver? They called up Rabbi Schabbes and he said, you dont dare publish this in my name, I never agreed to this.
You didn’t pay to reprint mipnei darkei shalom. You paid because you had no other option. You scammed the magazine.
I spoke to the rabbanim, they are furious, they thought they’re dealing with honest people but they were fooled. They never agreed to publish this kol korei and you guys used their signature without their consent, published a kol korei in their name, as if they stand behind it.
In short: You forged a kol korei.
This is reality, no matter how you’d like to call or twist it.
Now, the rabbanim know more. Sadly, they’re becoming – not just halacha experts – but also gang experts. They’re starting get a hang of your manipulating tactics and won’t rush to comply with your next shenanigan.
the damage of media like you https://www.bhol.co.il/news/1704439
I was hesitating if I should answer again in this silly platform. Because every response gets you more crazy and more horrible to an entire community of thousands of followers. But I promise this is my last one.
You’re a genius to figure out and let people know that motzei Shabbas I was responding with several names. Because people could’ve taught that the I’m the Rambam and B Y and more, great for figuring it out.
And no obviously there where other or others responding as well. No. I didn’t write all the pro Skver comments I actually know someone else that wrote few.
Now, no, I’m not part of any gang. I learned about the names involved, on this platform(except of Berger). Was almost clue less about the details till you made me aware.
I don’t live there don’t have any connection with any of the askanim of Skver. My kids don’t learn in their Mosdos. I just belong to this Chasidus. (Same with other person I know that commented)
Reason I wrote few comments because saw what hate and smearing you do against me, and other thousands like me. Something unheard till now without any Ruv letting such hate on public platform.(non of them read the blunt wild filthy attacks)
That bought me to answer because I know this place where people are so nice and non me what you wrote about them is true and I really looked up the Halacha and saw the opposite of what you write, so I commented.
Now you wanna feel good it’s all the few gang members organized campaign to write back. When I know two writers zero connected to anyone. So I see all other stories what lies and assumption they are.
Now all these people being smeared by you will never forgive you .you hurt people you can’t even ask for forgiveness. I promise you people suffer from this hate that it’s not permitted for any reason . I personally won’t forgive this ever.
I know you just smeared the mafia and gang and the terrorist, but you really admire and love Skver, as the Muslims who love Jews except of Israelis and pro Israels.
I was just trying to make a point that there’s two sides with dayanim on both sides. Hoping the you’ll retract some of your hate and accusations. And keep on fighting for your way by Torah means. I failed
you people wrote ”They have purchased over 350 houses, which they refuse to rent to Jewish families”
אבל לאחד או לשנים מותר למכור או להשכיר כל מה שירצה got it????????????????????
why did you fight when we used to rent out to singles, sro’s is new stuff
Why did you ignore us when our rabbanim asked you nice the past couple of years?
Now eat the fruits of your labor, its only getting more exiting from here.

I understand שכונת היהודים by you only means where Skver people live but some do happen to disagree and believe that a litvish neighborhood can also be considered so.

This is not mesirah. This is לא תעמוד על דם רעך
The Torah tells us we can’t just stand by while Yidden, families, and whole kehillos are being hurt.
This isn’t about handing over a Yid, it’s about protecting Yidden.
This isn’t about breaking, it’s about saving.
Even the Mechon L’Horaah Beis Din in Monsey won’t take the case.
And they’re right, no reputable Beis Din will. Because there’s nothing to take.
When Beis Din has no way to stop the damage, Halacha is clear, WE HAVE TO ACT!
This is what it means to protect our kehillos.
This is what it means to make a Kiddush Hashem.
This is showing the world that Torah Yidden look out for each other and stand up for what’s right.
And yes, this is the only way forward.
